An entertaining conspiracy theory that has been spreading for the past couple weeks is that Melania Trump has a body double who has been attending events in her place, though it has been debunked.

The real Melania was by her husband President Trump‘s side while he gave a speech in the late hours of election night on Wednesday morning (November 4) in Washington, D.C.

Melania didn’t wear her signature sunglasses while appearing with the First Family inside the White House.

While the body double rumors have been going on for years now, Twitter blew up with more conspiracy theories after photos emerged of Melania boarding Marine One with Donald. In the pics, she didn’t look like her normal self, but people have attributed it to her smiling.

The “Fake Melania” rumors continued just a few days ago when she appeared at campaign rallies with her sunglasses on.

On Election Day, Melania was seen stepping out in Florida (wearing her sunglasses) to place her vote.

The 50-year-old FLOTUS was accompanied by secret service men as well as the county’s supervisor of elections, Wendy Sartory Link.

The First Lady contracted COVID-19 last month and many have been wondering why she wouldn’t wear a mask when arriving to cast her vote.

“It’s Election Day, so I wanted to come here to vote today for the election,” she told reporters (via the New York Times).

“Everything was perfect,” Wendy said. “She was the only voter in the room at the time.”

Rumors that the First Lady has a body double that is used for appearances have been running rampant for weeks after this photo surfaced. However, that theory is now being debunked.

Both USA Today and BuzzFeed are debunking the theories that Melania has a body double.

USA Today reported, “Based on our research, the conspiracy theory that the White House has used a body double to sub for Melania Trump is FALSE. The White House and President Donald Trump have denied it, and the photos and videos that have been cited as proof of the theory have been anomalies. After all, no one looks the same in every photo that is taken of them.”

The #FakeMelania rumors blew up last weekend after a photo of Melania looking very different spread around the internet. Then the rumors continued with her appearance just the other day.

Melania, or the woman possibly playing her if conspiracy theorists are correct, was seen giving a kiss to Donald before speaking on stage in front of thousands of people in Florida.

One person tweeted, “For the record, I had Trump kissing a fake Melania at a super-spreader rally on my 2020 bingo card.”

Zach Braff said, “Guys. I’m not a conspiracy person at all!!!! But this doesn’t look like her! Am I crazy?”

Omarosa Manigault Newman is spilling details on Donald Trump‘s marriage to Melania Trump.

“It’s a very strange marriage, and I’m very cautious to comment on the dynamics of people’ marriage — you never know the inner-workings — but I’ve known this couple since they were dating,” the 46-year-old said on the British morning talk show Lorraine. “And in fact, they got married a year after The Apprentice aired.”

“What I’ve observed over the last 17 years … Sometimes they like each other and other times she’s repulsed by him,” she continued. “As we saw just on the debate last Thursday, he went to go and touch her hand and she smacked it away.” If you don’t know, Omarosa worked for Trump‘s White House in 2017 but she left the position. Omarosa actually once revealed some secret audio between her and Trump.

She also spoke about what will happen if Trump loses the election.

“I think that he will fight leaving office,” she said. “But, thank God, there are safeguards in place for a peaceful transition of power and so, as much as he may pout like a baby and throw a tantrum, there are forces that will be able to move and usher him right out of the White House and bring in new leadership, and in this case, I hope that it in fact is Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris.”

The photos depict the First Lady and the President getting ready to board Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House on Thursday (October 22) ahead of the final presidential debate.

Well, some people believe that this isn’t actually Melania Trump! We have no proof, but Twitter is going wild accusing the President of using a stand-in as the First Lady.

Tweets include, “This is quite amazing. The Melania in the helicopter is not Melania. She’s a stunt double. How weird is that? Very weird!” Another Twitter user pointed out that Melania has never smiled that wide, writing, “Good luck finding any photos of Melania smiling like that.”

The First Lady of the United States was seen seemingly yanking her hand out of her husband’s grip after the final presidential debate on Thursday night (October 22) in Nashville, Tenn.

Melania stepped on stage at the end of the debate, wearing a mask, and she held hands with Donald while acknowledging the audience and photographers. Moments later when they turned to walk off stage, she pulled her arm forward to release her grip with her husband.
