Jim Parsons and Matt Bomer are getting into character.

The 46-year-old The Big Bang Theory star and the 41-year-old American Horror Story actor were spotted on the set of The Boys in the Band on Saturday (July 27) in Los Angeles.

Co-star Tuc Watkins was also spotted on the set.

The upcoming 2020 screen adaptation of the play follows a group of gay men who gather in a NYC apartment for a friend’s birthday party.

The Boys in the Band won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play last month. Ryan Murphy is producing the project, just as he did on Broadway.

The guys are shooting a movie adaptation of the Broadway play, which they performed last year in New York City. The full cast is reuniting for the film, which will stream on Netflix.

Also spotted on the set that afternoon were Andrew Rannells, Tuc Watkins, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Robin De Jesus, who received a Tony nomination for his performance.

Matt Bomer is opening up about his family life and how his 14-year-old son Kit came out as straight to him and husband Simon Halls.

The 41-year-old actor chatted with RuPaul during a recent episode of his talk show.

RuPaul was asking about how he makes his home a safe place for his kids and said, “If your sons were to come out… as straight god forbid, no I’m joking people!”

“Well they do though. Our oldest came out to us as straight. He’s 14. He said, ‘I love and respect that you guys are who you are. I’m straight, that’s how I identify.’ And it was a big, nice, sweet moment,” Matt said.

RuPaul said to “give it time, Matt” and he replied, “Anything can happen. We would be there with open arms.”

Matt and Simon are the parents of three sons – 14-year-old Kit and 11-year-old twins Henry and Walker.

Matt Bomer is showing off his singing voice in a cover of Kelly Clarkson‘s hit song “People Like Us” and you can listen here!

The song was recorded for Matt‘s DC Comics Universe series Doom Patrol and it was just released on iTunes to celebrate World Pride. All proceeds from the recording will support GLSEN.

Matt sings on the song with Alan Mingo Jr., who plays Morris Wilson / Maura Lee Karupt on Doom Patrol.

Matt Bomer had the best plus one at the 2019 Tony Awards!

The 41-year-old actor was joined by 11-year-old son Henry as they arrived at the awards show on Sunday night (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

While he was at the show, Matt joined his The Boys in the Band co-stars as they supported their play – which took home the award for Best Revival of a Play!

In case you missed the news, Ryan is turning The Boys In The Band into a movie for Netflix, with the entire cast reprising their roles!

Matt Bomer sits down for an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which aired on Monday (June 3).

The 41-year-old actor, who was there to promote his new movie Papi Chulo, opened up about how he broke his leg on a ski trip, but continued skiing on it anyways.

“I was trying to get out of the way of some little kids in front of me and my leg went the wrong way,” Matt said. “Ironically, it was the first time I’d ever taken lessons and I broke my leg.”

“But my husband [Simon Halls] and one of our 11-year-olds were waiting at the bottom of the hill and I was like, ‘I’m not going down on that red toboggan.’ My pride got in the way and I didn’t want to scare them,” Matt said. “They had skied ahead of me and they were down there and I was like, ‘What do I do?!’ And so I just got back on the ski with a broken leg and skied down the hill with a broken leg.”

“I looked at my husband and went, ‘I’m injured, I’m injured.’ And he knew,” Matt added.
