Victor Garber and Jennifer Garner played a father-daughter duo on the hit show Alias and they have remained super close ever since!

The actors were seen with big smiles on their faces while leaving Craig’s restaurant on Sunday night (November 13) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Jen and Victor were joined for dinner that night by fellow actor Martin Short.

Earlier in the day, Jennifer was spotted going to church with her estranged husband Ben Affleck and their kids.

The musical takes place in Baltimore in the early ’60s, when teenager Tracy Turnblad lands her dream role on the popular Corny Collins Show and becomes a dancing sensation overnight, crossing paths with a colorful array of characters along the way.

The first look at the cast of NBC’s Hairspray Live in costume has been released in this new promo!

Harvey Fierstein, Jennifer Hudson, Martin Short, Kristin Chenoweth, Ariana Grande, Derek Hough, Dove Cameron, Garrett Clayton, and newcomer Maddie Baillio are all seen in their 1960s outfits in the new clip.

Hairspray Live will air live from Los Angeles on December 7.

Also featured in the cast will be Rosie O’Donnell, Andrea Martin, and Sean Hayes. This is the fourth live musical that NBC will be doing after The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, and The Wiz.

Maya Rudolph and Martin Short‘s brand new variety series Maya & Marty is having its premiere tonight (May 31) and you can see the full performers list here!

The new series will see the comedy stars joined by Kenan Thompson and a dream team of surprise celebrity guests every week.

NBC recently tested out the variety special genre with Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris and early numbers indicate that Maya & Marty will top the ratings.

Dancing with the Stars veteran Derek Hough has joined the cast of NBC’s Hairspray Live! as Corny Collins.

Martin Short has also joined the production as Edna’s husband Wilbur.

“We welcome Marty to the network in May in his new variety show with Maya Rudolph and we think he will be the perfect long-term companion to Harvey‘s Edna,” Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement (via The Wrap). “And hands-down the best dancer on television and one of the best in the entertainment business, Derek Hough, will be perfect in the role of Corny Collins, the cocky song-and-dance-man who hosts the TV show every teenager in Baltimore wants to be on.”

Jennifer Hudson and Harvey Fierstein are also involved in the live musical.
