Last night, Vanessa Lachey performed her weekly Dancing with the Stars dance with a new partner – Alan Bersten.

“Maks [Chmerkovskiy] is dealing with a personal issue so Alan is stepping in and dancing with Vanessa tonight,” co-host Erin Andrews announced at the beginning of the show.

People is now reporting that something may have happened between the dancing couple.

“There’s a big chemistry issue,” an insider said. “They both have big personalities and that’s not always the best recipe for a good partnership.” The source added, “They’ve been fighting a lot.”

After performing with Alan, Vanessa took to Instagram and wrote, “I can’t WAIT to get started tomorrow with @maksimc on week 4! We’re cookin up something special for you!”

The 36-year-old entertainer did a Salsa and earned a score of 23 out of 30 points, slightly down from her performance during Ballroom Night when she got a 24.

The 36-year-old entertainer received a score of 24 out of 30 points for her performance, despite battling an injury from stepping on her toe with her heel during a rehearsal.

Vanessa tied with Hamilton actor Jordan Fisher, who also received a score of 24.

The 36-year-old television personality performed a Cha-cha-cha with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy and they received a score of 21 out of 30 points.

Vanessa beat her husband Nick Lachey, who got 18 points for his dance with Maks‘ wife Peta Murgatroyd. She got the third highest score of the night!

The Dancing with the Stars pros were joined at the awards event by Maks‘ younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy and his girlfriend Jenna Johnson.

Other stars spotted at the event included Christina Applegate, Tommy Chong, and Monique Coleman who had a mini High School Musical reunion with director Kenny Ortega.

The Industry Dance Awards is hosted annually to raise money and awareness for cancer.

The Dancing with the Stars pros have been taking to Instagram to share tons of photos from their honeymoon at Lake Como.

“Lake Como with my love. ❤️🇮🇹We were blown away by the beauty! Missing our little Shai – this is our first trip away just the two of us,” Peta captioned the below set of photos.

Peta and Maks got married back in earlier July where their seven-month-old son Shai served as Prince of Honor.

Dancing with the Stars brothers Val and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are already teaching Maks‘ son to follow in their footsteps!

The pair shared a fun video of them teaching his son with Peta Murgatroyd, six-month-old Shai, some dance moves.

“D N A Something about some fruit and some trees…. @iamvalc with first instructions and I just noticed that Shai doesn’t have a shirt on…..damn it…..LMAO…..I’m literally laughing as I’m typing this….. 🤦🏻‍♂️,” Maks captioned the video on his Instagram.
