Prince Harry meets up with Lewis Hamilton during the grand opening up of The Silverstone Experience in Northampton, England on Friday (March 6).

The Duke of Sussex and racecar driver Lewis spoke to school children ahead of a full tour of the new museum, which is a brand-new immersive experience that tells the story of the past, present and future of British motor racing.

During the event, Harry and Lewis took part in a pit stop test, with Harry beating Lewis four seconds to eight seconds in changing four wheel tire nuts.

Lewis joked that the game was “fixed” for Harry, who replied “what a stitch-up!”.

Harry, who is the royal patron of the project, reflected on road to get the museum happening.

“Tomorrow marks two years since we were stood here, thinking of what could be. I can’t believe we’ve managed to turn a World War II hanger that was pretty cold, pretty dusty two years ago into this remarkable experience. We’ve really put a marker down on what British motor racing means to the world,” he shared.

Harry continued, “It’s a long time coming to have a building like this and having walked through it just now I’m probably going to have to come back to actually really soak up the experience myself.”

Idris Elba takes the stage at 2020 WE Day UK!

The 47-year-old Luther actor attended the event held at The SSE Arena, Wembley on Wednesday (March 4) in London, England.

He was joined by Game of Thrones‘ Gwendoline Christie, racing driver Lewis Hamilton, and singers Leona Lewis (who hosted) and Calum Scott, who performed a duet of “You Are The Reason.”

Of his own experience growing up in London, Idris told the crowd (via Daily Mail), “Happy is my normal. Yes, there was crime. Yes, there was poverty. Yes, there were gangs.”

“Some of the people I grew up with, people I saw around the neighborhood, went down the wrong path, ended up doing the wrong thing,” he continued. “I was different. I was lucky, maybe. I wanted different things. I was an only child by immigrant parents from Sierra Leone, West Africa. And they worked hard for what they had. This way of life taught me the importance of independence and relying on myself for my own success.”

“You are all capable of making an impact so speak out about what matters – whether that is fighting against knife crime, global hunger, housing, education, sexism, combating racism,” he added. “We all need to be conscious about the world we live in because it is our responsibility to make things better together.”

Lewis Hamilton and Tommy Hilfiger walk around backstage at the TommyNow fashion show during London Fashion Week on Sunday (February 16) at Tate Modern in London, England.

They were joined by H.E.R. and Naomi Campbell, who both appeared in the show.

The guys debuted their fourth TommyXLewis collection during the show and in a surprise twist, they revealed 12 special TommyXLewisXH.E.R. pieces that the singer helped design.

All of the runway looks were immediately available to shop around the globe right after the show ended.

Pose‘s Billy Porter was among the celebs in attendance at the event.

Sharon Stone is delivering a powerful message at the 2019 GQ Men of the Year Awards.

While being honored with the Woman of the Year Award, the 61-year-old actress took to the stage at the event on Thursday (November 7) at the Komische Oper in Berlin, Germany to recreate her iconic Basic Instinct scene.

“Some years ago I was sitting on a soundstage, and my director said, ‘Can you hand me your underpants, because we’re seeing them in the scene and you shouldn’t have underpants on, but we won’t see anything,” Sharon recalled. “And I said, ‘Sure.’ I didn’t know this moment would change my life.”

“We have every right to be powerful in whatever form of sexuality we choose to have, and no one is allowed to take that away from you,” Sharon continued. “So I want to say thank you for choosing me to be Woman of the Year, because there was a time when all I was was a joke.”

Also during the awards event, Billy Porter received an award in the Style category while Lewis Hamilton was honored with the Creativity & Design award.

Lewis Hamilton is ready to take on Hollywood!

During a new interview with ESPN, the 34-year-old racecar driver opened up about want to become an actor – and revealed that he was offered a part in the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick.

“I was trying to get in Top Gun because I’m a massive fan of Top Gun, but I didn’t have time to do any filming,” Lewis shared. “But I had an opportunity to do it and I couldn’t do it.”

Lewis then went to reveal that he’s been auditioning for roles and is working with an acting coach.

I auditioned for a movie a while ago and it took one day to learn the role,” Lewis continued. “I had a fashion show in Paris, and I probably had maybe four or five shows to go to, so in between I quickly changed and saw this [acting] coach, and I saw her for 20 minutes and we quickly went through one part and then I went to a show and came back and went through another part. By the end of the day I had to record a video to send it to Los Angeles – it was so cool!”

Lewis said that he unfortunately lost out on the role, but he still hopes to become an actor one day soon.

The 23-year-old entertainer hit the red carpet for the premiere of Le Mans ’66 on Friday evening (October 4) in Zurich, Switzerland.

The actor celebrated his milestone birthday on Saturday night (July 6) at TAO restaurant in Hollywood, Calif.
