Jim Parsons and Dylan McDermott are signing on for Hollywood!

The two actors were among several names announced as the latest additions to Ryan Murphy‘s upcoming Netflix series on Friday (September 27).

Samara Weaving, Maude Apatow, Joe Mantello, Laura Harrier and Jake Picking are also joining the cast, which includes the previously announced stars Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope and David Corenswet.

The show is described as “a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.” It will be set in the 1940s, and is set to debut sometime in May 2020. There are no specific plot details just yet.

The film will be hitting theaters in the UK on August 2, though it doesn’t yet have a U.S. release date.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: After her father’s funeral, American student Caitlin (Harrier) leaves her grieving mother behind to return to her third-year studies at the Glasgow School of Art. There she juggles her grief and end-of-year presentation with meeting a new guy, Rory, and a rupture in her relationship with her housemate and BFF Hannah (Vinaite). Can she again find balance in her turbulent life?

The film features new music from Biffy Clyro, who joined the ladies at the premiere.

It looks like actress Laura Harrier and Golden State Warriors NBA star Klay Thompson are together after all those split rumors!

The 29-year-old actress and 29-year-old athlete were seen holding hands en route to Nobu on Sunday night (July 14) in Malibu, Calif.

While their rumored split was never confirmed, Laura reportedly unfollowed Klay right before he played in game one of the NBA finals this past June. The Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors in the series.
