Ivanka Trump was reportedly “surprised and hurt” when she saw what her sister-in-law Karlie Kloss tweeted about her this week.

After the events that took place at the Capitol building this week, Karlie tweeted, “Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American.”

A fan replied and said, “Tell your sister in law and brother [in] law.” Karlie responded by saying, “I’ve tried.”

Now, a source is speaking out about how Ivanka reacted after the tweet was brought to her attention.

Tavi Gevinson is calling out Karlie Kloss for her politics on Instagram.

On Wednesday (January 6), Karlie tweeted that the riots at the U.S. Capitol and ensuing violence were “anti-American.” Commenters were quick to point out her connection to in-laws Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, suggesting she speak to them about the situation. Karlie responded, “I’ve tried.”

Tavi posted a screen shot of Karlie‘s tweet to her Instagram stories, with the caption, “What Karlie means to say is: ‘I have no real interest in using my political power so much as maintaining a watery ‘feminist’ liberal brand while protecting my ties to the Trumps and Kushners.” She added that Karlie has “chosen to help legitimize their bigotry by branding us as simply have different ‘political views.’”

The Gossip Girl star posted an update Friday (January 8), where she shared a screen shot of a comment she had left on one of Karlie‘s Instagram posts with the caption, “Karlie Kloss restricted me”, along with a gravestone emoji.

Fans have been speculating that the songs could be about Taylor‘s friendship with Karlie Kloss, but she seems to be shutting those rumors down with this explanation.

Taylor Swift dropped two new Evermore songs on the deluxe version of the album on Thursday (January 7).

One of the songs, “It’s Time to Go,” is about knowing when it is time to let someone in your life go.

Specifically, fans are pointing to one set of lyrics in particular that signal this could be about her relationship with Karlie.

“When the words of a sister, come back in whispers, that prove she was not, in fact, what she seemed,” Taylor sings. “Not a twin from your dreams, she’s a crook who was caught.”

Some believe this is a reference to Karlie deciding to work with Scooter Braun, who Taylor has a negative history with.

Karlie Kloss has been one of many celebrities speaking out about the Capitol riots that happened today in Washington, D.C.

The 28-year-old pregnant model shared her thoughts about the chaos on her Twitter.

“Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American,” she wrote, and was then met with comments about how she should talk to her famous in-laws, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

Karlie is currently expecting her first child with husband Joshua, who is Jared‘s brother.

She’s made her voice on the election very clear to fans during the past year.

This isn’t the first time that Karlie‘s relation to the couple, and Trump Administration advisers has been brought up.

The relation also came up on an episode of Project Runway, where the aspiring fashion designers were tasked with creating a dress for her for an event in Paris. One, who failed the challenge, brought up how she could wear their design during dinner with her in-laws.

Karlie Kloss is opening up about being pregnant for the first time and how it has changed her daily routine.

“I normally love running but I have to say I’m out of breath these days just talking or going up a flight of stairs,” Karlie said in a new interview with WSJ. Magazine.

Karlie also said she has been having a hard time waking up lately. She said, “I think I could sleep in until three in the afternoon.”

On her normal Monday routine, Karlie said, “I normally am up at 6:30, 7, but I feel like these days, more into winter, I’m hitting the snooze button more and more. I like to get my workout in first thing in the morning, so I almost force myself to get out of bed and put on my leggings, my sneakers and my sports bra. I brush my teeth and go straight to my workout, which, by the way, is like the shortest commute of all time now that it’s basically just my Zoom workouts.”

Well, when Taylor released her album Folklore earlier this summer, fans noticed that Karlie seemed to be showing her support for the singer in a very subtle way.
