Josh Gad made the internet so happy this week after he reunited the original cast of The Goonies for the first episode of his Reunited Apart series.

Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Jeff Cohen, Ke Huy Quan, Martha Plimpton and Kerri Green all called into the virtual reunion where they reminisced about the movie.

Later on, Joe Pantoliano, Robert Davi, writer Chris Columbus, executive producer Steven Spielberg, director Richard Donner and even Cyndi Lauper joined the call and chatted about a the much talked about sequel to the adventure movie.

“Chris, Dick and I — and Lauren [Shuler Donner] — have had a lot of conversations about it,” Steven shared about the topic. “Every couple of years we come up with an idea but then it doesn’t hold water.”

The virtual reunions will continue on Josh‘s channel, and benefit The Center for Disaster Philanthropy, which helps some of those hit hardest by the financial impact of COVID-19.

“I’ve always dreamed of being able to bring back the casts of my favorite movies of all time. All it took was everyone being forced to not leave their homes for two months and spotty wi-fi,” Josh joked about the series.

Josh Brolin is apologizing after he and his wife Kathryn broke social distancing guidelines while visiting his dad James Brolin and Barbra Streisand‘s home.

It all started when Barbra posted, “I just love the sign that Josh and Kathryn painted yesterday when they came to see us with our little grandchild Westlyn!” Barbra posted on Instagram. “P.S. all of the flowers are now blooming on our wishing well—we are wishing with our hearts and minds for everybody to stay well!”

Well, soon, comments began coming in asking why they had broken social distancing mandates.

“My father lives next door to us and we had a plan to go see them and not be near them and that plan was broken and that is our responsibility,” Josh later said in an Instagram video. “We were going to pick something up and show Bean the pool because we don’t have a pool and I think it was irresponsible.”

“It’s hard to be honest sometimes, it’s hard to be honest and say, ‘Well maybe I screwed up.’ and I knew that was in the air,” he continued.

“The responses brought me back to my own truth. It’s humbling as hell because I know there are some people out there with no masks, no gloves, no interest in it, they think it’s in your head, that you’ll survive because of immunity that is created from your own psychic weight,” he continued. “But I know for me that’s not the case and we’ve been very responsible and I apologize about that.”

Josh Brolin has no time for haters in his comments.

The 51-year-old Avengers actor posted an intimate photo of wife Kathryn Boyd on Instagram on Monday (February 3).

“I want to love you wildly. I don’t want words, but inarticulate cries, meaningless, from the bottom of my most primitive being, that flow from my belly like honey. A piercing joy, that leaves me empty, conquered, silenced. Anaïs Nin @kathrynbrolin,” Josh captioned the post.

“Why show your wife’s body off on the internet it’s not good, God wants her to cover her body and not expose her body,” one commenter wrote.

“I just spoke to God and God asked me to please ask you to shut the f–k up and go take a shower,” the star clapped back.

He recently revealed he has a sunburn in an interesting place on his body.

Josh Brolin is warning his fans about the dangers of “perineum sunning,” which is basically giving your butt a tan.

The 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actor is in a lot of pain after he gave his butthole a sunburn in the process.

“Tried this perineum sunning that I’ve been hearing about and my suggestion is DO NOT do it as long as I did. My pucker hole is crazy burned and I was going to spend the day shopping with my family and instead I’m icing and using aloe and burn creams because of the severity of the pain. I don’t know who the f–k thought of this stupid shit but f–k you nonetheless. Seriously,” Josh wrote on his Instagram account.

Josh Brolin has taken to social media to share his thoughts on the new movie Joker and how one can truly appreciate the film.

The 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actor previously worked with the film’s star Joaquin Phoenix in the 2014 movie Inherent Vice.

“To appreciate Joker I believe you have to have either gone through something traumatic in your lifetime (and I believe most of us have) or understand somewhere in your psyche what true compassion is (which usually comes from having gone through something traumatic, unfortunately). An example of dangerous compassion would be to, say, make a film made about the fragility of the human psyche, and make it so raw, so brutal, so balletic that by the time you leave the theatre you not only don’t want to hurt anything but you desperately want an answer and a solution to the violence and mental health issues that have spun out of control around us. This film makes you hurt and only in pain do we ever want to change,” Josh wrote on Instagram. “It’s all in the irony of trauma — a fine line between the resentment of wanting to hurt society back for raping you of a decent life, for not protecting you, and accepting what feels like alien feelings with softening to those others who seem freakish in our era of judgment, and digital damnation.”

“Like kids in Middle School: man, they can just be mean. For no reason. And, sometimes, those awful little clicky kids breed an evil in someone that rages much later, when everyone pretends we are all back to normal, when we all thought it had just manned up and gone away,” he added.

Josh concluded, “We have a habit of hating and ostracizing and dividing and sweeping our problems under the rug. Joker, is simply lifting the rug and looking underneath it. Nothing more. Nothing less. It’s there.”
