The trailer for The Kissing Booth 2 just debuted!

Here’s a synopsis of the new movie: Elle Evans (Joey King) just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi). But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year. She’ll have to juggle a long-distance relationship, getting into her dream college with her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney), and the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez). When Noah grows close to a seemingly-perfect college girl (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Elle will have to decide how much she trusts him and to whom her heart truly belongs.

Joey King has announced that her upcoming Netflix movie The Kissing Booth 2 is being released on July 24!

The 20-year-old actress went live on YouTube on Thursday afternoon (May 21) and she was joined by co-stars Joel Courtney, Taylor Zakhar Perez, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers during the live stream event.

The first Kissing Booth movie was one of Netflix’s most successful movies of 2018 and fans have been so excited for the sequel.

Here is the movie’s official synopsis: Elle Evans (King) just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi). But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year. She’ll have to juggle a long-distance relationship, getting into her dream college with her best friend Lee (Courtney), and the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco (Perez). Congratulations are in order for Joel Courtney and Mia Scholink!

The 24-year-old The Kissing Booth actor proposed to his now-fiancee on Valentine’s Day, he announced on Instagram on Tuesday (February 18).

“I like it, so I just had to go and put a ring on it,” he captioned a photo of the proposal.

He added, “#valentinesday #proposal #shesnotmygirlfriend #shesmyfiancé #engaged #overthemoon #cloud9 #beyondblessed and #sothankful 📸- @visuals_bykev 🙌🏼🙌🏼Stay tuned! Sooooooo much more to come!!!”

Joel Courtney and Mia Scholink have known each other since they were kids and have been dating for quite some time.

Joey King is one of the first winners of the night!

The 19-year-old actress picked up the award for Favorite Movie Actress at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held at the Galen Center on Saturday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

Joey thanked her The Kissing Booth co-stars Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi, as well as the fans for their support. The movie is also up for Favorite Movie!

“Oh my god, I never thought I’d be in the same category as Rihanna and actually win something, so this is crazy to me,” Joey said during her speech. “Playing Elle Evans was so amazing to me because she is a girl who embraces her differences and originality and I love playing her because it encourages young girls to just be you and young boys to be you.”

The 20-year-old The Hate U Give star stepped out for the event on Tuesday night (February 20) at Ysabel in West Hollywood, Calif.
