Chris Evans' Movie Mom Jamie Lee Curtis Cheers Him On After His Photo Leak

Jamie Lee Curtis is speaking out with a message of support for Chris Evans after he accidentally leaked a NSFW photo on his Instagram account.

If you didn’t know, Jamie played Chris‘ mom in the recent movie Knives Out, which you can watch right now with a subscription to Amazon Prime.

Chris broke his silence on the photo leak on Monday night (September 14) by acknowledging his big mistake and also encouraging fans to vote in the upcoming election.

“Now that I have your attention 🤦🏻‍♂️ 🤷🏻‍♂️…. VOTE Nov 3rd!!!” Chris wrote on his Twitter account.

Jamie responded to the tweet by saying, “My boy! Proud of him. Got MY attention!”

Jamie Lee Curtis is speaking out about the delay of Halloween Kills.

The 61-year-old actress confirmed the news that the highly anticipated next film in the Halloween franchise was pushed back by a year amid the pandemic as of Wednesday (July 8).

“I am as disappointed as you are. Mostly because the movie the David has created from the characters that John and Debra created Is a masterpiece. Prescient and powerful. I promise you it will be worth the wait,” Jamie Lee wrote on Twitter.

“If we release it in October of this year as planned, we have to face the reality that the film would be consumed in a compromised theatrical experience. After weighing our options, we have chosen to push the film’s theatrical release by one year. On top of a traditional release, Universal has agreed to an IMAX presentation of the film in October 2021,” a statement shared by John Carpenter reads.

The House of Cards actress and the Halloween star were spotted running into each other while out running some errands on Friday (May 15) in Pacific Palisades, Calif. amid the ongoing global health crisis.

Earlier in the month, Robin was seen meeting up with daughter Dylan Penn for a beach get-together over the weekend.

Jamie Lee Curtis has an exciting project in the works.

The 61-year-old Halloween actress will direct, star in and executive produce a Lifetime movie, Deadline reported on Thursday (May 7).

The original, called How We Sleep at Night: The Sara Cunningham Story, tells
the true story of a devout Christian mother who came to terms with her son being gay.”

The project is described as a “passion project,” who optioned the rights to Sara Cunningham‘s memoir in 2019.

Jamie Lee Curtis is opening up about the time Kirk Douglas saved her life when she was a child.

The 61-year-old Knives Out actress posted a tribute to Kirk after his death this week.

“Kirk and Anne were important to BOTH my parents,” Jamie wrote on her Instagram account. “I just remembered this morning that Kirk saved my life when I rode my tricycle into the pool at a party and he dove in and brought me up from the bottom, still peddling. I was in school with their son, Eric who they lost in 2004. Tony lost his son, Nicholas in 1994. Families tied together in life and success and loss and struggle, past and present. Kirk is an example for us ALL. COURAGE. INTEGRITY. GENEROSITY.”

“Their foundation link is in my website. See the work that they did for others. The playgrounds they built. Join them and me and honoring his legacy,” she added.

Kirk was laid to rest on Friday in a private funeral attended by family members Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and more.

Renee Zellweger and Adam Sandler accept the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor for their roles in Judy and Uncut Gems, respectively, at the 2020 AARP Movies for Grownups Awards on Saturday night (January 11) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Laura Dern was also honored for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Marriage Story – and she received the award from mom Diane Ladd!

and Don Johnson were on hand to accept the award for Best Ensemble for their movie Knives Out, Noah Baumbach was honored with Best Screenwriter for Marriage Story, The Farewell‘s Zhao Shuzhen and Tzi Ma accepted the award for Best Intergenerational Film, and Martin Scorsese was honored with the Best Director Award.

Martin was also joined on stage by Robert De Niro when they accepted the award for Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups for The Irishman.

Annette Bening was supported at the awards show by husband Warren Beatty where she was honored with the Career Achievement award.

Other stars at the event included Adam‘s wife Jackie, Billy Crudup, Alan Alda, Juliette Lewis, Tony Danza, Conan O’Brien, and Finn Wittrock.

Renee Zellweger keeps it classic in an off the shoulder black dress while arriving for the 2020 National Board Of Review Gala on Wednesday night (January 8) in New York City.

The 50-year-old actress was honored at the event as Best Actress for her performance in Judy, alongside Kathy Bates, who picked up the Best Supporting Actress award for Richard Jewell.

Director Melina Matsoukas was also honored at the event with the Best Directorial Debut award for Queen & Slim, presented by producer Lena Waithe.

Salma Hayek, Lupita Nyong’o, Jamie Lee Curtis, Whoopi Goldberg, and Uma Thurman were also seen at the event.
