Amy Schumer just released her three-part documentary Expecting Amy on HBO Max and her friend Jake Gyllenhaal makes an appearance!

Jake actually grew up with Amy‘s husband Chris Fischer and he revealed a NSFW detail about him while making a toast at the couple’s wedding in 2018.

“We’re going to start this off with Chris is the only uncircumcised one amongst the four of us, which was a mystery to us as young boys because we only knew the penis to be one way,” Jake said while giving a toast alongside two other childhood friends.

In the documentary, Amy also talks about Chris‘ diagnosis on the autism spectrum.

“He knows that his brain is different,” Amy said (via Page Six). “His brain just sees things so differently. He’s just the f–king best.”

The couple got married in 2018 and they welcomed their son Gene into the world last year.

Jake Gyllenhaal is showing off his singing talents in a new video posted to his Instagram account.

The 39-year-old actor performed a new love song that was written by musical theater writers Jeanine Tesori and David Lindsay-Abaire.

The song is set in the age of quarantine and tells the story of a guy named Anthony who falls in love with a girl who lives across the way.

“A love song in the age of quarantine, this is ‘ACROSS THE WAY’ from the brilliant minds of @jeaninetesori and @lindsayabaire. Written and recorded in 24 hours for the @24hourplays, it was an honor to collaborate with these two from across the way! If you can, please donate to @24hourplays,” Jake wrote on his Instagram account.

Jake Gyllenhaal is making some rare comments about starting a family one day.

The 39-year-old actor was supposed to be starring in a production of the musical Sunday in the Park with George this summer in London and he did an interview with British Vogue to promote the show.

Jake was asked about his favorite line from the play and he said, “Anything you do, let it come from you. Then it will be new. Give us more to see.”

The actor said the line makes him think of “the act of making love to make a child… the real thing is life. You get to the end of the show and that’s what it’s about. Children. Children and art.”

When asked if he sees kids in his future, Jake said, “Yes, of course I do. I definitely do. I think that’s probably the reason I see the end of the show the way that I see it. I know that’s why I see the end of the show the way that I see it.”

“I’m not someone who has ever existed in a space where I’ve really known what’s coming next,” he added. “But you do have to be open to it. And there has been no other time in my life that I can safely say…”

Jake has been dating French model Jeanne Cadieu for the past couple years. She was there at his opening night performance for his last Broadway performance!

The 39-year-old actor was picking up some groceries curbside, however, it looks like a store worker forgot to close his trunk for him.

Just the night before, Jake was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and opened up about how he tried to cheat his way through the viral handstand challenge that Tom Holland had sent to him.

“I thought, oh, I’m gonna be funny and I’m gonna turn my camera upside down and I’m gonna do it right side up,” he admitted. “And I’m just gonna let the shirt fall into my hands.”

However, it didn’t work out for Jake at all.

Tom Holland is like all of us, missing our family and significant others while in quarantine and self isolation from the coronavirus pandemic.

For the 23-year-old actor, this means his Spider-Man: Far From Home co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

“Missing my husband,” Tom captioned the vid.

Tom shared the throwback video on his Instagram with fans, which showed off his and brother Harry‘s water bottle throwing skills.

Jake was seriously impressed by Harry‘s more than Tom‘s skill in the visual.
