Jaime King has filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years Kyle Newman.

According to legal documents, obtained by TMZ, the 41-year-old actress filed for divorce on Monday (May 18) in the Los Angeles County courts. She is also requesting a restraining order.

It is unclear at this time if Jaime is asking for custody of their two children. The couple welcomed two sons during their marriage: Leo Thames, 4, and James Knight, 6.

So far, Kyle has not responded with his own set of divorce papers.

Jaime and Kyle‘s last public appearance together happened back in December of 2019 at the premiere for the newest Star Wars movie.

The couple married in 2007 after meeting on the set of Fanboys, which he directed and she starred in.

The 46-year-old Underworld star and the 29-year-old Phoenix singer were joined at the event by Sofia Richie, Eiza Gonzalez, Jaime King, Evan Ross, Ashley Madekwe, Elena Ora, Lottie Moss, Kathleen Riley, Tess Kemper and Tings Magazine Editor, Vas J Morgan.

The night, hosted by Tings Magazine founders Justin Campbell and Vas J Morgan, was in celebration of its fourth issue, called “Faces of the Future.”

Longtime friends Jessica Alba and Jaime King both walk the red carpet as they arrive at the 2020 Warner Bros. And InStyle Golden Globe After Party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday night (January 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 38-year-old LA’s Finest actress looked pretty in a metallic-gray, fringe dress while the Black Summer star donned a cute and sparkling green dress for the event.

Jaime King is all smiles as she poses alongside her husband Kyle Newman on the carpet at the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker held at the TCL Chinese Theater on Monday night (December 16) in Hollywood.

The Black Summer actress was also joined at the event by The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano, Pete Wentz and his son Bronx Wentz, Constance Zimmer, Aisha Tyler, Ava DuVernay, Bobby Moynihan, Derek Hough and Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo.

Also in attendance to show their support for the film was Jay and Silent Bob Reboot stars Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, Frozen‘s Josh Gad, Mario Lopez, Matt Lanter, Ming-Na Wen, Modern Family‘s Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez, Raini Rodriguez, Seth Green, Spike Lee and Yvette Nicole Brown.

Jaime provided the voice of bounty hunter Aurra Sing and thief Cassie Cryar in the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. At the after party, she snacked on a McDonald’s Happy Meal and reminisced about being a kid in her Instagram post. She wrote, “Ever since I was little we would run to our local @mcdonalds to get the amazing #happymeal Star Wars toys! I treasure those memories.”

Jaime King gives a big hug to Love Simon actor Keiynan Lonsdale while attending the opening of the new Ray-Ban store on Thursday (November 7) in Venice, Calif.

The new store is located on Abboy Kinney Boulevard on Venice’s mile long strip of the latest fashion, art, and cuisine.

Jaime, Keiynan, and other guests wore their favorite Ray-Bans at the event, where they enjoyed “matcharita” cocktails from Cha Cha Matcha and light bites from Gjusta.

Earlier this month, Jaime was joined by her adorable kids while attending an event to plant trees to restore the mountain landscape, one year after the Woosley Fire.
