Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer made a joint appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday (January 15) and talked all about their hit show Broad City coming to an end.
“We made sure to shoot the final moments at the end and it was wild,” Ilana expressed.
“We’ve never had an end. We just needed the last moment shooting together to be the last moment for them too,” Abbi added. “We’ve very much grown up with these characters and we just tried to create an experience in shooting it too.”
“The characters are weeping but we’re truly weeping as is the crew,” Ilana continued. “It was like for four hours we were just crying, hysterically crying on a sidewalk in Queens.”
Abbi and Ilana also talk about the differences between their characters on Broad City and who they are in real life, and they reveal what they took from the set – Watch below!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus hits the red carpet at the 2018 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor ceremony held at The Kennedy Center on Sunday (October 21) in Washington, DC.
“Last year, I was lucky enough to get an Emmy award for my performance on Veep, which was an incredible thrill — and it set some kind of a record for the most Emmys by somebody for doing something or other,” Julia said during her speech. “Then, about 12 hours later, I was diagnosed with cancer, another hilarious turn of events. I’m only half-kidding, of course. Cancer isn’t at all funny, but a big part of dealing with it has been finding the funny moments.”
“The old cliché about laughter being the best medicine turns out to be true — which is good, because that’s what the current administration is trying to replace Obamacare with,” Julia added – Watch some of the speech below!
