Halsey is opening up about her battle with endometriosis now that she is pregnant with her first child.

The 26-year-old singer took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday (January 28) to share a Polaroid picture that was taken by her friend, photographer Sam Dameshek.

The photo shows Halsey‘s pregnant belly with the word “baby” tattooed near her pelvic area. She pointed out the scars right on her lower abdomen and she wrote, “the scars that got me this angel.

Halsey also added the hashtag “endo warrior” to the photo.

For those that don’t know, UCLA Health says that “Endometriosis is a disease in which the endometrium (the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus or womb) is present outside of the uterus. Endometriosis most commonly occurs in the lower abdomen or pelvis, but it can appear anywhere in the body. Symptoms of endometriosis include lower abdominal pain, pain with menstrual periods, pain with sexual intercourse, and difficulty getting pregnant.”

This will be the first child for Halsey and her boyfriend Alev Aydin. Learn more about him here!

Halsey is pregnant – and now, we’re getting to know the father of her baby: Alev Aydin!

The 26-year-old “Without Me” singer tagged the screenwriter in her pregnancy announcement on Wednesday (January 27).

Alev is a screenwriter and producer who’s worked on 2017′s Small Shots, Controller and HipMen: Los Angeles. According to his IMDb, he’s 5’9″!

He is also on Instagram at @zoneaydin, as well as a Twitter account with the same handle. Although it’s not yet known when the two first started seeing each other, the pair was seen shopping for paint supplies as recently as back in October of 2020, so they’ve been together for at least three months.

Halsey shocked the world when she announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child just moments ago!

The 26-year-old singer tagged writer and producer Alev Aydin in the post, and he reposted on his Instagram Story, confirming he’s the father. Halsey and Alev also shared a really cute exchange on Instagram after announcing the news.

There’s not much known about Alev but we’ve scrounged together a few facts about the couple.

First, they have been dating since at least October of 2020. We know this because Halsey and Alev were first photographed together at that time, shopping for art supplies in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

In Hollywood, he has worked on a variety of titles including Small Shots (2017), Controller and HipMen: Los Angeles (2017).

Surprise! Halsey just announced that she’s pregnant with a series of baby bump photos!

The 26-year-old entertainer has not been photographed in a while, so the pics of her baby bump have shocked fans. “Surprise,” Halsey captioned the photos!

Halsey has often been the subject of pregnancy rumors and actually responded to the rumors when she was dating Evan Peters back in 2019.

In 2016, Halsey revealed that she suffered a miscarriage the previous year. Halsey was eventually diagnosed with endometriosis (a painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus) and spoke out about her desire to one day be a mom, despite her diagnosis.

In November, Halsey posted a series of hot photos that showed no indication that she was expecting!

The last person that Halsey has been romantically linked to was Yungblud. They sparked reconciliation rumors after she and Evan split.

Halsey has officially cancelled her upcoming tour, citing safety as a big concern for her many fans who planned on attending.

In her note on social media, the 26-year-old singer explained more of the reasons behind pulling the plug on the concert event and how fans can get a refund for their tickets.

“Safety is the priority,” Halsey shared. “I wish things were different. I love you. Dreaming of seeing your faces again.”

In her more elaborated note, she added that was no “guarantee” that she was able to go on the tour with the “currently scheduled dates.”

“I miss seeing all of you in the crowd every night more than anything, but I need to prioritize your health and safety. That being said, the Manic tour is now officially canceled,” Halsey announced. “As much as we wanted to hold out hope that this tour could eventually happen, our priority is now getting your ticket money back to you immediately.”

The Manic tour kicked off in Europe at the start of 2020, but shut down as the pandemic spread.

Halsey has a few other projects she’s working on right now, including her beauty line, Sing 2, and this new television series!

Halsey rocks a bright blue wig during a makeup tutorial she shared with fans on Sunday (January 17).

The 26-year-old singer showcased some of the products from her upcoming beauty collection, about face, which is launching next week.

about face is a collection that “will also provide the tools to create looks that highlight authenticity and uniqueness in every form, recognizing that there is no one version of us.”

Halsey is also celebrating the one year anniversary of her album, Manic.

“Admittedly this album cycle didn’t go the way I planned,” she shared with her fans on Twitter. “The world had other things in mind. But you guys made it special beyond belief, anyway. Thank you for one year of fantasy and surrender ✨.”
