It was just announced that Elon Musk is going to be hosting the next episode of Saturday Night Live and let’s just say, the internet is not that keen on the idea.

Nearly all of the reactions we’ve seen so far on Twitter are in agreement that this is a pretty crazy idea, but we’ll just have to wait and see if Elon can pull it off.

“Elon Musk hosting SNL is the most reckless casting decision they’ve made since Donald Trump,” one person said.

Another said, “Elon Musk hosting SNL is huge for guys still making ‘that’s what she said’ jokes who think they’d be great at hosting SNL.”

Miley Cyrus is the musical guest on the episode and fans are already apologizing to her for having to be on the same episode as Elon.

NBC just announced the next host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live!

The show is currently on hiatus until May 8 and when it returns from break, SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk will serve as the host for the first time.

Miley Cyrus will be the musical guest, marking her seventh official appearance on the sketch comedy series.

Miley‘s first appearance on the show was when she hosted on March 5, 2011. She then served as both host and musical guest on October 5, 2013 and October 3, 2015. Her later appearances were as solely a musical guest on November 4, 2017, December 15, 2018, and April 25, 2020. She also made a surprise appearance during Edward Norton‘s monologue back in October 2013.

Elon Musk‘s business partner Max Hodak has some big ideas.

The Neuralink co-founder spoke out on social media, writing that “we could probably build” a real-life Jurassic Park.

“We could probably build Jurassic Park if we wanted to,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Wouldn’t be genetically authentic dinosaurs but (man shrugging emoji). maybe 15 years of breeding + engineering to get super exotic novel species,” he went on to say. It is not yet clear whether he was referring to Neuralink specifically or society in general.

In the classic movie, scientists genetically engineer dinosaurs for the opening of a theme park that leads to disaster as the dinosaurs break loose, forcing the people on the island to find a way to escape alive.

Elon Musk is looking to change up his career title.

Instead of just CEO at Tesla, the 49-year-old entrepreneur has filed paperwork to change it to “Technoking of Tesla”, People is reporting.

In addition to Elon‘s title change, the company has also filed paperwork to amend CFO Zach Kirkhorn‘s title to “Master of Coin.”

“Effective as of March 15, 2021, the titles of Elon Musk and Zach Kirkhorn have changed to Technoking of Tesla and Master of Coin, respectively,” the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission reads.

Elon‘s title is a nod to his love of music, it seems, as just last January he released an EDM track called “Don’t Doubt ur Vibe”.

Meanwhile, Zach‘s new title is a nod to Bitcoin, which Tesla just recently announced it would accept as payment to purchase vehicles.

Elon Musk is giving us a rare look into his family life!

The billionaire inventor posted a photo of himself with partner Grimes and their infant son, X Æ A-XII to Twitter on Monday (March 8).

The photo was taken at a SpaceX facility in Texas and Elon captioned the photo, “Starbase, Texas,” a reference to his earlier announcement on Twitter that he was trying to form a city called Starbase around SpaceX’s launch facilities.

Grimes and Elon welcomed their child in May 2020 and there was some confusion over the proper way to pronounce his name. Elon later clarified the pronunciation in an interview. However, Grimes said later that month that for the most part, she calls him by a nickname.

Grimes also shared that she liked watching “radical art” with her son and revealed the R-rated movie they had watched together.
