Donald Trump's Twitter Ban Is Permanent, Even If He Runs for President Again, Twitter Confirms

Donald Trump‘s ban from Twitter is permanent, not temporary, the platform revealed.

“The way our policies work, when you’re removed from the platform, you’re removed from the platform…whether you’re a commentator, you’re a CFO, or you are a former or current public official. Remember, our policies are designed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that, we have to remove them from the service and our policies don’t allow people to come back,” CFO Ned Segal told CNN.

This would mean that even if Trump runs for President again, or wins, he would still not be allowed back on.

The permanent suspension came in early January. Celebrities had a lot to say when the news came down that the former politician’s seemingly favorite social media platform had banned him.

Donald Trump Banned From Ever Joining SAG-AFTRA Again

Donald Trump will not be able to rejoin SAG-AFTRA.

The former President of the United States, who resigned from the union before facing expulsion, cannot be re-admitted into the organization, as voted on in a SAG-AFTRA National Board meeting, Deadline confirmed Sunday (February 7).

“The resolution cites the same concerns that prompted the initial disciplinary charges — which were resolved by Trump’s resignation Thursday — notably his antagonism of the union’s journalist members and disregard for the values and integrity of the union,” the outlet reported.

“Preventing Donald Trump from ever rejoining SAG-AFTRA is more than a symbolic step. It is a resounding statement that threatening or inciting harm against fellow members will not be tolerated. An attack against one is an attack against all,” said SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris.

“WHEREAS, on or about January 13, 2021, disciplinary charges were filed against member Donald J. Trump, alleging that he engaged in actions antagonistic to the interests and integrity of SAG-AFTRA and its members in violation of Article XIV of the Constitution. The charges allege that the former President of the United States incited insurrection against the U.S. government at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and urged and incited anti-journalist animus that resulted in injuries and harm to SAG-AFTRA member journalists,” the formal declaration begins. Trump Resigns From SAG-AFTRA Before Facing Expulsion: 'You Have Done Nothing for Me'

Donald Trump is no longer part of SAG-AFTRA.

The former president of the United States resigned his membership from the union on Thursday (February 4), Deadline reported.

SAG-AFTRA’s national board found “probable cause” that Trump, who has been a member for over 30 years, “violated the union’s Constitution.” If found guilty by the committee, he would have been kicked out of the union. The reasoning was for his role in inciting the insurrection at the Capitol in January, as well as “sustaining a reckless campaign of misinformation aimed at discrediting and ultimately threatening the safety of journalists, many of whom are SAG-AFTRA members.”

“I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares! While I’m not familiar with your work, I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice – to name just a few! I’ve also greatly helped the cable news television business (said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others,” he wrote in his letter.

“Which brings me to your blatant attempt at free media attention to distract from your dismal record as a union. Your organization has done little for its members, and nothing for me – besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas – as evident by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from celebrated actors, who even recorded a video asking, ‘Why isn’t the union fighting for me?’ These, however, are policy failures. Your disciplinary failures are even more egregious. I no longer wish to be associated with your union. As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resignation from SAG-AFTRA. You have done nothing for me.” You can see a scan of the actual letter here.

SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris and national executive director David White simply said in response: “Thank you.”

Miley Cyrus Performs Her Anti-Trump Song 'Golden G String' During NPR's Tiny Desk Concert - Watch Now

Miley Cyrus is calling out Donald Trump.

The 28-year-old singer gave a performance during NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert on Thursday (January 28) where she sang a verse from her anti-Trump track “Golden G String.”

“So the mad man’s in the big chair / And his heart’s an iron vault / He says ‘If you can’t make ends meet, honey, it must be your fault,’” Miley sang while in a stage set to look like her old teenage bedroom.

During an interview with The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music back in November 2020, Miley revealed that she wrote the song back in 2017 or 2018 and that it “is reflective of Donald Trump as president and the men [who] hold all the cards — and they ain’t playing gin, and they determine your fate.”

“This song, which is also about kind of the cross I’ve had to bear, in a way, of saying, ‘I feel like everything that I’ve done has just been up for all the opinions and I guess people being offended and all this s–t,” Miley continued.

“But it’s like our president grabs women by the …. and you’re mad at me,” Miley went on. “I’m a pop star. I’m supposed to do these things. I’m supposed to do things that sometimes make you uncomfortable or you take offense. That’s kind of my job, that’s entertainment…I don’t want that in a leader. You don’t want an entertainer.”

During a new interview, Miley Cyrus revealed if she prefers being in relationships with men or with women more.

President Biden Removes Trump's Diet Coke Button From Oval Office (Report)

President Joe Biden is already making changes.

The President of the United States, who was inaugurated on Wednesday (January 20), has seemingly made a change of former President Donald Trump‘s decor.

The Times political commentator Tom Newton Dunn noted on Thursday (January 21) that Biden had removed a red button in the White House that Trump previously used. When he hit the button, a butler would bring him a Coke, according to the AP.

“When … I interviewed Donald Trump in 2019, we became fascinated by what the little red button did. Eventually Trump pressed it, and a butler swiftly brought in a Diet Coke on a silver platter. It’s gone now,” he noted on Twitter.

AP also reported that presidents have used the button for decades, and the New York Times revealed Trump‘s use for the button in 2017.

“Watching cable, he shares thoughts with anyone in the room, even the household staff he summons via a button for lunch or for one of the dozen Diet Cokes he consumes each day,” the article reported.

Biden also made a more emotional change to the Oval Office by including a picture of his late son, Beau Biden, who died in 2015 at age 46 of brain cancer, as well as other family photos including one of first lady Jill Biden behind the Resolute Desk.

Lil Wayne Breaks His Silence on Being One of Trump's Last Minute Pardons

Lil Wayne is speaking out about his recent pardoning by former President Donald Trump.

It was revealed on Wednesday (January 20) that the 38-year old rapper was among the 143 people Trump granted sentence commutations or pardons to before his time in office ended.

Lil Wayne referenced the 2019 federal weapons charges he had been pardoned for in a new song released the same night, “Ain’t Got Time”.

He raps, ““The feds, they hot on us, 100 on the thermometer / They raided my private plane, got one that’s more privater.” Later in the song he adds, “FBI arrest me, why?”

Lil Wayne faced up to 10 years in federal prison after he was found in possession of a gold-plated handgun on a private plane.

Lil Wayne also thanked Trump on Twitter. The rapper wrote, “I want to thank President Trump for recognizing I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community.”

He also took the time to thank his attorney, Bradford Cohen. “I also want to take the time to thank @bradleycohen,” he added, “for working so diligently to secure another chance for me.”
