Insatiable is coming back for more!

The controversial Debby Ryan-led Netflix dark comedy series is returning in 2019 for a second season, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Wednesday (September 12).

The show, which revolves around an overweight teenager (Ryan) who seeks revenge on those that tormented her after she loses the weight, was highly criticized. Debby and the film’s cast and crew responded to the backlash.

“We’re not in the business of fat shaming. We’re out to turn a sharp eye on broken, harmful systems that equate thinness with worth,” Debby said.

It was a star-studded event at the Prabal Gurung New York Fashion Week show on Sunday (September 9) in New York City!

While at the show, Camila Mendes posed for pics with actress Debby Ryan, while Crazy Rich Asians stars Awkwafina and Gemma Chan met up and took some photos together!

Also seen at the event were Victor Cruz and Karrueche Tran, Kelly Rowland, Tiffany Haddish, Caroline Vreeland, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Yolanda Hadid (who was cheering on her kids Gigi, Bella and Anwar on the runway), Bella Heathcote, and more.

Kendall Jenner is all smiles as she arrives at the Longchamp NYFW Show on Saturday (September 8) at the World Trade Center in New York City.

The 22-year-old model looked pretty in a purple dress and sandals as she sat front row at the show.

Other stars at the show included Priyanka Chopra, Kate Moss, Natalia Dyer, and Debby Ryan while Kaia Gerber walked in the show.

The night before, Kendall hung out with tons of her model friends at the Harper’s BAZAAR Icons party.

Alyssa Milano and Debby Ryan team up at the season one premiere of their new Netflix series Insatiable!

The 45-year-old former Charmed actress and the 25-year-old former Jessie star stepped out for the event held at ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (August 9) in Hollywood.

Alyssa shimmered in a purple tulle gown, and Debby stunned in a strapless pale pink dress.

They were joined by their co-stars Christopher Gorham, Dallas Roberts, Kimmy Shields, Daniel Kang, Irene Choi, James Lastovic, Michael Provost, Erinn Westbrook, Arden Myrin, Sarah Colonna, Chloe Bridges, Brett Rice, and writer and executive producer Lauren Gussis.

Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Navia Robinson, Alyson Stoner, Sofie Dossi, and Isabella Gomez were also there to show their support, and Adam DeVine and Paris Berelc attended the after-party.

The Insatiable stars and creator got a chance to talk about, and defend, the series, which premieres this Friday on Netflix.

“We use the word ‘magic’ while describing the show because it is in the DNA,” Debby, who plays Patty in the series, shared.

She adds, “You will see that it’s such a lighting in a bottle thing.”

Debby Ryan is speaking out about the backlash she has been facing ahead of the premiere of her new Netflix comedy series Insatiable.

The 25-year-old actress shared her thoughts with fans in an Instagram post on Saturday (July 21).

“As someone who cares deeply about the way our bodies, especially women’s, are shamed and policed in society, I was so excited to work on Insatiable because it’s a show that addresses and confronts those ideas through satire,” she begins. “Satire is a way to poke fun at the hardest things, bring darkness into the light, and enter difficult conversations.”

“I have to laugh at my pain, otherwise I’ll dissolve and weep and get stuck instead of working through it,” she continues. “It’s a coping mechanism and, for a lot of people who are telling these stories, a healing mechanism. Over the last few days I’ve seen how many voices are protective and fiercely outspoken about the themes that come into play in this story. I’m grateful for that, and comforted by it, because I want those stories told right too.”

Insatiable is a dark, twisted revenge comedy that also stars Dallas Roberts and Alyssa Milano.

For years, Patty (Ryan) has been bullied, ignored, and underestimated by those around her because of her weight. But now that she finds herself suddenly thin, Patty is out for payback against anyone who has ever made her feel bad about herself. Bob Armstrong (Roberts), a disgraced attorney whose true passion is coaching beauty pageant contestant, is the only one who sees Patty’s potential, and takes her under his wing — first as a legal client, and then as a pageant contestant whom he coaches toward becoming the top pageant queen in the country. But Bob and his wife Coralee (Milano) have no idea how deep Patty’s rage goes, or how far she will go to exact revenge on anyone who has ever wronged her. Bullies beware: payback’s a bitch, revenge is sweet, and if you cross Patty, you’ll be her next treat.
