Danielle Brooks stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday (July 24) and dished all about being pregnant for the first time.

The 29-year-old Orange Is The New Black star made the big announcement earlier this month and told Seth, “I’m going to be a mom!” as she got up and danced while holding onto her baby bump.

“My feet are swelling and I brought some shoes and they don’t fit and they hurt,” Danielle told Seth about wearing slippers to the interview. “I’m going into my third trimester tomorrow so I’m going to keep it 100.”

Also during the interview, Danielle Brooks talked about performing in Much Ado About Nothing while pregnant, telling host Seth that “we were actually the first black show to ever do Shakespeare in the Park after 60-some-odd years.”

Brooks goes on to say, “Give us a Broadway house. We need a Broadway house.”

The 29-year-old Orange Is The New Black star shared the exciting news on her Instagram on Tuesday (July 2).

“So elated to finally share this news with you all. I’m happily pregnant! @Clearblue #ClearblueConfirmed #clearbluepartner,” she wrote on her Instagram, along with a photo of herself showing her positive pregnancy test.

“Counting my blessings with clear results…5 months in!” she added on her Instagram Story, showing off her baby bump in another picture.

Danielle has kept her relationship relatively private, but has shared photos with her boyfriend in the past year on her Instagram.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

The ladies attended the event to promote the seventh and final season of their hit Netflix series.

Netflix has not yet announced an official release date for the final season. Previous seasons have arrived in June or July though.

Tracee Ellis Ross wows on the red caret at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (March 30) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 46-year-old actress was joined at the event by her black-ish co-stars Anthony Anderson and Deon Cole.

Cynthia Nixon and Cuba Gooding Jr. are joining the Ain’t No Mo’ opening night celebration!

The stars were in attendance at the play’s opening night on Wednesday evening (March 27) at The Public Theater in New York City.

Bevy Smith, Orange Is The New Black‘s Danielle Brooks and Empire creator Lee Daniels were also in attendance.

Director Stevie Walker-Webb, writer and star Jordan E. Cooper and cast members Fedna Jacquet, Crystal Lucas-Perry, Ebony Marshall-Oliver, Jennean Farmer, Marchant Davis, Simone Recasner and Hermon Whaley Jr were all in attendance at opening night.

Ain’t No Mo’ is a vibrant satirical odyssey portraying the great exodus of black Americans out of a country plagued with injustice. In a kaleidoscope of scenes of the moments before, during, and after this outrageous departure, the play explores the value of black lives in a country hurtling away from the promise of a black president.

Debra Messing and son Roman, 14, hit the red carpet at the opening of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations on Thursday night (March 21) at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.

The 50-year-old Will & Grace star was also joined at the opening night celebration by Josh Groban and girlfriend Schuyler Helford.

Other stars at the opening included Danielle Brooks, Michael Urie and Torch Song co-star Michael Rosen, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Blair Underwood, Real Housewives of New York City‘s Jill Zarin, Broadway star Todrick Hall, and former royal Sarah Ferguson.

The musical follows the life and times of The Temptations and will run on Broadway through November.

Cast members James Harkness, Ephraim Sykes, Jeremy Pope, Derrick Baskin, and Jawan M. Jackson all walked the carpet following the performance!
