Gleb Savchenko has split from his wife of 14 years, Elena Samodanova, and fans have been questioning if it was due to an affair with his Dancing With the Stars partner Chrishell Stause.

Gleb and Chrishell competed together on the current season of DWTS and they were eliminated earlier this week.

Chrishell took to her Instagram Stories on Friday (November 6), just hours after Gleb announced the breakup, to deny they were romantically involved.

“I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena‘s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life. Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone,” Chrishell said, referencing her split from ex-husband Justin Hartley.

“As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more,” she added. “I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time.”

Years before marrying Justin Hartley, Chrishell Stause actually met with ABC exec Robert Mills to become the next Bachelorette.

“She would never remember this. I’ve actually had lunch with Chrishell, this was about 10 or 11 years ago, to talk about being the Bachelorette,” Robert Mills told Nick Viall on his podcast. “There was like four Bachelors for every one Bachelorette…. At that point we didn’t know who it was going to be, so we were looking for people and our casting director said, ‘We should meet with this girl Chrishell Stause, she’s amazing.’”

“I was convinced, I was like, ‘This is the Bachelorette,’” he said. “Then Brad Womack’s season aired and that’s when he let go of both girls and one of them was DeAnna.”

“This was before we even said we were going to do a Bachelorette. At that point, it was like, ‘How do we not do that?’” Robert said of choosing DeAnna. “And the whole thing of what could have happened. … Chrishell could have been the Bachelorette and then we wouldn’t have had DeAnna and then we wouldn’t have thought to have Jason Mesnick. Nick, where would you be right now?”

It was a big week for Chrishell Stause on Dancing With the Stars!

The 39-year-old Selling Sunset star earned her highest score of the season during the Halloween-themed episode, which was taped live on Monday (October 26) in Los Angeles.

Chrishell and her partner Gleb Savchenko performed a Paso doble set to the tune of “In the Air Tonight” and they earned 26 out of 30 points. Their previous highest score was a 24, which they earned last week.

It was Villains Night on the show and Chrishell was dressed up as Maleficent, who was played by Angelina Jolie in the recent live-action movies.

Before the episode aired, an article predicted that Chrishell would be eliminated tonight and she tweeted, “You guys I NEED your votes tonight please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. I want to be the dark horse!!! Help me prove them wrong betting against me.”

Chrishell was safe tonight, but someone else did get sent home.

Chrishell Stause is too busy for a new man!

During a new interview on the Tamron Hall Show, the 39-year-old Selling Sunset star explained why she is ready to get back into the dating again just yet.

“I’m not dating. I’m really busy. I’m trying to work on my cha-chas and my contemporaries,” Chrishell said, referring to her current stint on Dancing with the Stars.

“It’s something I’m looking forward to as soon as [DWTS] is over, but hopefully people will vote so it won’t be right away. I’m going to venture out once I’m done with this,” Chrishell continued. “You know, Tamron, what it really is – I’m just waiting to get my dancer body on and then I’m gonna be like, ‘OK, I’m ready!’”

Chrishell and husband Justin Hartley split up back in November 2019 after two years of marriage. The 43-year-old This Is Us actor has been dating new girlfriend Sofia Pernas since May.

Last month, Chrishell revealed that she made the decision to freeze her eggs.

Chrishell Stause is opening up about how she feels about seeing her ex-husband, Justin Hartley, moving on so soon after their divorce.

The 39-year-old Selling Sunset star spoke to People, admitting that it was painful for her.

“I feel like anybody would be heartbroken to see how quickly or easily you are replaced; of course that’s going to sting,” she shared.

However, Chrishell is “excited to get back out there…I’m a hopeless romantic, so I think it can still happen. It’s 2020, maybe you could meet your person through an Instagram DM. I don’t know. Crazier things have happened!”

Chrishell is currently competing on Dancing With The Stars, alongside pro partner, Gleb Savchenko.

The two were seen this afternoon (September 30) heading into practice after being tested for coronavirus earlier in the week, a new protocol for the show.

Chrishell also revealed that she made the decision to freeze her eggs.

Dancing with the Stars‘ Chrishell Stause has revealed she is freezing her eggs.

“I have taken the steps to freeze my eggs,” the 39-year-old Selling Sunset star told People. “I’m going to do everything I can to take that power in the situation, and hopefully, that will empower me going forward in the dating world, so there’s not so much pressure.”

If you don’t know, freezing your eggs is a “method used to save women’s ability to get pregnant in the future,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

Another big time star just revealed they also recently froze their eggs with the help of another celebrity.

The 39-year-old Selling Sunset star performed a waltz with Gleb while dressed as Cinderella and Prince Charming. It was Disney Night on Monday and they performed to “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from the classic animated film.

Chrishell and Gleb earned 22 out of 30 points for their performance, which marked their best score yet of the season.

In week one, the pair stumbled with a 13 and then they improved in week two to score an 18. Now they’ve moved their way up the leaderboard to a 22!
