As Prince Charles waits to take over the throne from mom Queen Elizabeth, The Palace is setting the record straight on what his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will be called when he becomes King.

As the 71-year-old heir to the throne’s second wife, Camilla, 72, will not be given the title Queen Consort, but instead will use the title HRH The Princess Consort, Clarence House confirmed in a new statement.

“The intention is for the Duchess to be known as Princess Consort when the Prince accedes to the Throne,” a spokesperson for the royal couple told The Times. “This was announced at the time of the marriage and there has been absolutely no change at all.”

Back when Prince Charles and Camilla married in 2005, Clarence House announced, “It is intended that Mrs Parker Bowles should use the title HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to The Throne.”

It is customary that the reigning King’s wife will receive the title of Queen Consort, but since this is Prince Charles‘ second marriage, Camilla will not be given that title.

When Prince William takes the throne, his wife Kate Middleton will then be known as HRH Queen Consort.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) and Prince William teamed up with Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, for a rare outing to visit the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre on Tuesday (February 11) in Loughborough, England.

The royals met with patients and staff at the defence medical rehabilitation centre (DMRC) Stanford Hall, which is operated by the MOD and began admitting patients in October 2018. They deliver in-patient and residential rehabilitation to serving members of the Armed Forces.

“I have seen the growth of an idea transfer into what we see today,” Prince William, who served as patron of the charity which raised money for the new rehabilitation center, said in a statement,”and it is a rare and immensely satisfying thing to have witnessed.”

Katy Perry dons a chic blue dress for the British Asian Trust Reception on Tuesday evening (February 4) in London, England.

The 35-year-old singer was named the new ambassador for the Trust’s anti child-trafficking campaign by Prince Charles, who founded the organization.

“I was impressed by their strong plan – from on-ground initiatives to fundraising – that will aim to cut child-trafficking in half,” Katy shared in a statement about her new role. “[I hope to] help shine my light on the work that the British Asian Trust will be doing in South Asia, and to be a part of finding solutions to child-trafficking.”

Katy and Prince Charles were joined by his wife, Camilla, and businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla, who has made a multi-million-pound pledge to the fund.

Just the night before, Katy was seen out in a eye-catching pink coat dress.

Duchess Camilla, the wife of Prince Charles, might have been caught off guard while asked this question about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their separation from the royal family.

In the video clip, the Duchess is asked, “Will you miss Harry & Meghan?”

She paused and said an audible “Hmmm,” before adding, “‘Course.”

One Twitter user wrote, “Well then….it’s difficult not to read into that, although I’m trying! I’d play poker with Camilla before The Queen,” while another Twitter user simply wrote, “the burn.”

Others pointed out that perhaps the Duchess was just caught off guard by the question, like this Twitter user who said, “The Duchess was great She probably did not expect such a question and was polite. Sometimes don’t need much to say.”

The 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge wore Princess Diana‘s tiara to Queen Elizabeth‘s Diplomatic Reception on Wednesday evening (December 11) at Buckingham Palace in London, England.

Queen Elizabeth gifted Princess Diana with the tiara as a wedding present when she married Prince Charles in 1981. Princess Diana wore the tiara on several occasions, including in 1985 on an official visit to Washington with Prince Charles.

Fellow members of the Royal Family at the party included Kate‘s husband Prince William along with Prince Charles and wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (AKA Meghan Markle) and Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (AKA Kate Middleton) are paying tribute.

After reuniting for their first joint public outing on Saturday (November 9) since July, the royal couples joined Queen Elizabeth and members of the royal family to honor those lost in war on Remembrance Sunday (November 10) at a Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph war memorial in London, United Kingdom.

Queen Elizabeth, Duchess Kate and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall watched together on one balcony, and Meghan watched from another with Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Sir Timothy Laurence.

All of the royals were seen wearing their red poppy pins, which symbolize remembrance of World War I and veterans.

Meghan also watched with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s wife, Elke Budenbender.

Princes William and Harry joined father Prince Charles in the ceremony of laying wreaths of poppies.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall is going viral for what she did behind Donald Trump‘s back during his visit to the UK from America.

The 71-year-old wife of Prince Charles was having tea with the president and First Lady Melania Trump, as well as her husband at their home at Clarence House on Monday (June 3).

After a photo op, the Duchess was seen turning her head and winking to someone off to the side.

It’s unclear why the Duchess was winking or who she was winking at, but the video has quickly made the rounds on social media.
