More casting for the upcoming second season of Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton has been announced!

We already know that the new season is going to focus on Jonathan Bailey‘s character Anthony in his search for love and the actress who will play his romantic interest was announced back in February.

Now, two more actors have joined the show, one in a role that was featured in the book “The Viscount Who Loved Me” and one that was created for the series.

Luke Newton is apologizing and clarifying his post about Bridgerton season two which went viral on social media.

If you didn’t see, the 24-year-old actor, who portrays Colin Bridgerton on the Netflix series, had shared an Instagram that had him and Jonathan Bailey on horses as they geared up for the next season.

However, the post wasn’t what it seemed to be.

Kim Kardashian is jumping on the Bridgerton bandwagon.

The 40-year-old reality star and entrepreneur finally got a chance to sit down and watch Netflix’s hit series and is already a major fan.

“It’s finally happening!!!” she wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a screenshot of Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page) and Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) on her TV screen.

Kim shared her thoughts about the show with fans, and highlighted the ball where Simon and Daphne formed their plan to fake a romance.

“I’m not ok!!!!” she captioned during the waltz scene. “What is happening?!?! I’m not crying!”

Kim isn’t the only big fan of the series. She follows Mila Kunis, Chelsea Peretti, Chrishell Stause, and many more.

If you missed it, there’s a second season of the series coming and the leading lady was just cast. She’ll star with Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton searches for his own true love.

There have been articles all around the internet today (March 15) claiming that Jonathan Bailey and Luke Newton were spotted on set filming for the upcoming second season, but the photos are actually throwback pics from season one.

Luke shared the photos on his Instagram account and people assumed they were from the set of season two, but they’re not.

Nicola Coughlan, who played Penelope Featherington in the hit Netflix show, confirmed that the show has not yet begun shooting for season two.

“Not yet! Wigs and dresses yet to be made but soon!” she responded to a tweet. See below!

Seth Rogen‘s mom has a little problem with Bridgerton.

Sandy Rogen took to Twitter on Thursday (March 4) to call out this one aspect of the steamy scenes on the Netflix series.

“So on bridgerton they always seem to have their orgasms exactly at the same time , or at least that’s what it looks like to this old lady…” Sandy tweeted.

Later in the day, the 38-year-old Knocked Up actor reacted to his mom’s NSFW review of Bridgerton.

“My mom reviews Bridgerton,” Seth tweeted along with his mom’s original message.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton, has revealed that there’s an Easter egg in her first scene!

The 34-year-old actress took to Twitter on Saturday (February 20) to ask fans if they spotted it and she was surprised to see how many people actually did.

“Ok I’m just curious, has anyone spotted the massive Easter Egg about Penelope in the very first scene of Bridgerton?” Nicola tweeted.

In the final moments of season one, we find out the Penelope is actually the person behind the Lady Whistledown scandal paper.

When we first see Penelope, she is holding a feather that looks like a quill, which hints at her being Lady Whistledown. She said, “When I filmed Penelope’s first scene I chose a prop, a massive massive feather that looked a lot like [the quill].”
