“It made me so sad, just all the wrongs that society did to her. It’s disgusting what she went through, what she is still going through, the whole nine yards, it is literally terrible. And thank goodness they made the documentary so that people can change their f–king perception on situations,” she said.

She also opened up about paparazzi scrutiny as a teen when meeting up with Kylie Jenner.

“What they would say to get a reaction, the disgusting things that they would scream, ‘Oh should I f–k your sister too. Your sister can get it like this,’” she recalls.

“Even if you didn’t take that photo of Britney Spears, even if you weren’t that paparazzo pushing her, you were that person talking in your basement with your group of friends about this photo and people were laughing, people were joking about her mental health. People were joking about very serious things that no one should be joking about.”

“No one gives Disney kids enough f–king credit. Like, come on, Dove Cameron is one of the hardest workers I know, and she’s an amazing actress. And people still wanna say, ‘She’s Disney.’ It’s like an immediate ‘X’ mark that you have to work out of,” she went on to say.

She says Disney alums aren’t the only ones subject to “cancel/hate culture.”

“I’m sure Elon Musk is always thinking about this. You know, ‘Why don’t they just appreciate that I’m a genius?’ Why you guys all still hating on Elon Musk?”

Bella also got candid about how comfortable she has or hasn’t felt filming nude scenes with different directors.

Bella Thorne Says She's Been 'Uncomfortable' Filming Nude Scenes with Certain Directors

Bella Thorne is opening up about feeling uncomfortable while filming nude scenes.

The 23-year-old actress told Page Six that she hasn’t always felt comfortable taking her clothes off on set.

“I want to be stronger, right, and when I’m on set doing these scenes, I’m very, very uncomfortable,” Bella explained. “I’m always working through my uncomfortableness because I want to do it, especially if it’s important for the character.”

“If this is a thing that needs to be in there, it needs to be in there,” she said. “I’m a writer myself so I understand.”

However, Bella added that there are some people who “just want to get girls naked on camera.”

“You’ve got to watch out for those movies,” she said, “but when it’s needed for the character … yeah, it makes me feel uncomfortable.”

Bella also shared that her discomfort doesn’t depend on having the gender of her director and has more to do with their delivery and tone.

“I’ve actually worked with female directors and I’ve had an amazing time with some female directors and, of course, there have been some female directors that have made me uncomfortable,” she said. “It’s not that it’s just a man that’s making me uncomfortable on the set. It’s really more of how the situation is handled from start to finish.”

“If someone’s like, ‘Yeah, you’re supposed to take your shirt off now. You read the script, right?’ The expectation. Even if you’re like, ‘Yeah, I read the script and yes I know,’ it’s the way that it’s put in certain sets,” she continued.

Bella also recognized that being a director is a very difficult job and that being on set can be challenging.

“They don’t know what they’re saying is making you feel a certain way. It’s not that you’re always working with a really crude person that just wants to make you feel bad on set. It’s a very small percent of the time,” the ‘Shake It’ singer said.

“It’s more that people make mistakes and set’s running fast, people are talking and you’re not paying attention to the weight of your words so much. Things get misconstrued.”

Bella also recently opened up about being “pitted against” her former co-star Zendaya .

Bella Thorne Remembers Being 'Pitted Against' 'Shake It Up' Co-Star Zendaya

Bella Thorne is opening up about her friendship with her former Shake It Up co-star Zendaya.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the 23-year-old actress recalled being pitted against her castmate.

“We had to deal with that so much on Shake It Up,” Bella said. “It’s like we said [in] a couple interviews when we were younger, how we explained how in the first season we weren’t friends and it took us those other two seasons of becoming so close. [It was hard] not having someone pitted against you [before] and then all of a sudden, now everyone is pitting you against each other. That fed into our heads. It made us not [be] friends in that first season.”

Bella revealed that their relationship improved after a “beautiful talk in the middle of a sound stage” on the set of Good Luck Charlie.

She explained, “We were really able to put our cards out on the table and understanding each other.”

Zendaya’s amazing. I f—king love her,” Bella added. “She’s always been amazing and she’s always going to be amazing. I’m just happy that people see that. She’s getting the recognition she deserves. That just makes me so happy. I feel like when people put us against each other, it’s just like, … ‘Why are you doing this? Is it just because we’re women?’”

Bella Thorne leaves little to imagination as she covers up with bubbles in her new music video for “Lonely”.
