Seth Meyers walks the carpet with his wife Alexi Ashe at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards held at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

The 43-year-old Late Night host was the host of the event and he made some Trump family jokes while on stage.

“First Lady Melania Trump made headlines recently after she decided not to wear a head covering while visiting Saudi Arabia, which was especially shocking as her husband wears a head cover literally everywhere,” Seth said to a lot of laughs.

One joke he made that didn’t get any laughs was about “fashion designer Ivanka Trump,” who he joked has “clothes flying off the shelves at Nordstrom.”

Also in attendance at the event were Bee Shaffer, who works on Seth‘s show, with her fiance Francesco Carrozzini and mother, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Anna was joined at the event by her daughter Bee Shaffer and after the ceremony was over, her signature sunglasses were back on.

In a photo that Bee posted to Instagram, which she captioned “Dame AW,” Anna can be seen wearing her sunglasses inside while wearing her pins on her Chanel outfit.

The 29-year-old daughter of Vogue editor Anna Wintour just announced her engagement a little over a month ago and this is the couple’s first appearance since then!

Francesco is the son of the late Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, one of Anna‘s longtime friends and colleagues who sadly passed away in December.

The 67-year-old Editor-in-Chief of Vogue‘s son Charles Shaffer and his wife Lizzy welcomed their first daughter Caroline on Tuesday (March 28).

“Welcome Home Baby Caroline. Born 3/28/17 6lbs 14oz,” Lizzy captioned on Instagram.

Charles and Lizzy married back in 2014 at Anna‘s home in upstate New York.

Anna‘s daughter Bee Shaffer – who just announced her engagement Francesco Carrozzini last month – also took to Instagram to share a picture of herself meeting niece Caroline.

Bee Shaffer is engaged to marry renowned photographer Francesco Carrozzini!

Bee is the daughter of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Francesco is the son of the late Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, so this is a match made in fashion heaven.

The couple has been very private about their relationship and rumors that they were dating first surfaced last fall when Bee attended a screening of Francesco‘s movie about his mother, Franca: Chaos & Creation.

Bee is a segment producer for Late Night with Seth Meyers and Francesco is a celebrated fashion photographer and film director. He previously dated singer Lana Del Rey for a year.

Last year when Franca passed away, Anna wrote a touching tribute to her longtime friend.
