Diane Kruger and Mary J. Blige pose together on the red carpet at the inaugural IndieWire Honors event on Thursday (November 2) in Los Angeles.
The ladies were joined at the event by honoree Issa Rae and Broad City actress Abbi Jacobson.
Diane received the Lead Performance – Film award for her work in the movie In the Fade and Mary was presented with the Breakthrough Performance – Film award for her performance in Mudbound.
Issa was honored with the Vanguard Award for television.
The ladies are both nominated for Emmys this weekend, Viola in the drama category for How to Get Away with Murder and Tracee in the comedy category for black-ish.
They were joined at the event by Viola‘s on-screen mom Cicely Tyson. Viola and Westworld actress Angela Sarafyan were both seen enjoying the Halo Top ice cream bar.
Nettles also posed for a photo with Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love‘s Dolly Parton and Alyvia Alyn Lind.

Olivia Munn and Justin Theroux hit the red carpet at the premiere of their film The Lego Ninjago Movie on Saturday (September 16) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

Justin Theroux, Abbi Jacobson, and Dave Franco throw some punches while wearing Lego gloves at the photo call for The Lego Ninjago Movie on Thursday (September 14) at Legoland in Carlsbad, Calif.
Olivia took to Instagram that day to share a video of Justin walking through a Lego replica of downtown New York City. “The quickest @justintheroux has ever gotten uptown in NYC,” she captioned the cute clip.
The co-stars opened up about how President Trump‘s name will be bleeped out like a curse word every time it’s mentioned in the upcoming season’s episode “Witches.”
“We just got to a point where in real life we’re talking about the current administration, we’re talking about Trump every day and saying it so many times,” Ilana said (via TV Guide). “We just didn’t want to share air time. He’s got enough. We just don’t even want to hear the word.”
The new season of Broad City will premiere on Comedy Central on Wednesday, September 13.

The cast of The Lego Ninjago Movie debuted a new trailer for the upcoming animated film during the appearance!
In this big-screen Ninjago adventure, the battle for Ninjago City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd (Franco), aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu (Jackie Chan), as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon (Theroux), The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their inner power of Spinjitzu.
