We’ve also seen the loss of stars like the shocking death of Christina Grimmie, which left our readers and fans around the world in mourning.

There have been so many shocking deaths in the entertainment world in 2016 and we are ready for the new year to start already.

The news of Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher‘s untimely passing has left the world in mourning and there are so many other stars that died this year as well.

The year kicked off with the loss of David Bowie, who lost his battle to cancer at the age of 69. Other major losses in January included Harry Potter actor Alan Rickman and Rene Angelil, the husband of Celine Dion.

Some of the other shocking deaths throughout the year include actor Anton Yelchin dying in a freak car accident, singer Christina Grimmie being killed at her meet and greet by a deranged fan, Prince‘s untimely death at the age of 57, and the recent loss of George Michael due to heart failure.

Looking back at 2016, lots of celebrities hit the red carpet with their kids!

Some major appearances by celebrity babies included Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively debuting their two daughters James, 2, and Ines, 3 months, at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony earlier this month, Beyonce bringing Blue Ivy Carter to the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards over the summer, and many more.

Forbes has released the list of the actors who were the most valuable for the size of their paychecks this year and Marvel stars ruled the list!

The person who topped the “Best Actors for the Buck” list brought in $135.80 in box office numbers for every $1 paid.

The top three spots on the list this year were taken by stars of Marvel comic book movies and with the success of those films, it’s no surprise the actors in them are so valuable!

Some of the stars on the list include Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, and Passengers‘ Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt.
