While Gugu attended the event back in 2014, this is the first time that Caitriona has been at the ball.

Gugu will soon be seen in the film Free State of Jones while you can catch Caitriona on the second season of Starz’s Outlander, which is currently airing!

This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology exhibition – is co-chaired by Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and Apple exec Jonathan Ive.

Wiz Khalifa flashes a smile as he arrives on the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

The 28-year-old rapper was joined by fellow music stars Tyga, 26, and Future, 32, at the event.

Wiz wore a custom Rag & Bone single-button, slim-fit wool tux with an ivory satin lapel and tuxedo stripe.

Tyga wore Balmain.

Future wore an Ermenegildo Zegna Made-to-Measure white, shawl collar tuxedo jacket with satin lapel, black pant, white shirt, white bow tie and shoes.

Beyonce and her younger sister Solange Knowles hug it out while attending an after party following the 2016 Met Gala on Monday night (May 2) in New York City.

The ladies stopped by the Balmain and Olivier Rousteing celebration along with a host of other stars!

Beyonce made a stunning arrival on the red carpet in a latex Givenchy gown while Solange kept it mellow in a yellow outfit.

Bey will be flying south to North Carolina in the morning to perform a show on her Formation World Tour in Raleigh.

The ladies represented Broadway at fashion’s biggest night – Cynthia is currently starring in the musical The Color Purple while Danai wrote the new play Eclipsed. They are both expected to get Tony nominations this week!

“Tonight Anna Wintour said she was a fan of mine. Sarah Jessica Parker said I was beautiful. I feel like a princess,” Cynthia tweeted.
