Football fans will love this news! Retired star quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, who are brothers, will lead the new Monday Night Football broadcast on ESPN2 this fall.
“Offering multiple ‘Monday Night Football’ viewing options for the next three seasons continues our innovation efforts and provides additional value for our fans,” Jimmy Pitaro, chairman of ESPN and sports content for Disney, said (via Variety). “Peyton and Eli will bring a different approach, delving into conversation about broader, big-picture topics while also honing in on the game, much like fans do when watching with their family and friends.”
Monday Night Football traditionally airs on ESPN1 with Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick, John Parry and veteran sideline reporter Lisa Salters. That broadcast will continue as well, giving viewers the option of either set of commentators.
The pair will begin their duties in 2021 and have signed a contract through 2023.

The teaser parodies a trial regarding his limited edition Satan Shoes, which was in collaboration with MSCHF.
The shoes were inspired by his hit song and video, “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”, which were repurposed pairs of Nike Air Max 97s.
Just moments after the drop of the video and announcement of the shoes, Nike sued MSCHF for the “unauthorized Satan Shoes” that were “likely to cause confusion and dilution and create an erroneous association between MSCHF’s products and Nike.”
