Brendan still had not received a one-on-one date and after he learned that he wouldn’t be receiving one this week, he went to talk to Katie ahead of the group date. She told him that she couldn’t see their relationship advancing quickly enough to ensure he’d get a rose for the hometown dates. Katie sent him home before the group date to not put him through the whole experience, knowing that he’d go home anyways.
