Courtney Love Slams 'Rude' Olivia Rodrigo, Accuses Her of Copying Hole Album Cover

Courtney Love is very publicly slamming Olivia Rodrigo.

On Thursday (June 24), the 56-year-old singer took to Facebook to call out the 18-year-old “Drivers License” singe, accusing Olivia of copying the one of Courtney‘s band’s Hole album cover.

Courtney shared a promotional photo for Olivia‘s debut album Sour, in which Olivia is wearing a prom dress and tiara, with mascara running down her face, and carrying a bouquet of flowers.

Courtney accused Olivia of copying her band Hole‘s Live Through This album cover, which features model Leilani Bishop with a bouquet and a prom queen’s tiara as mascara tears ran down her face.

“Spot the difference! #twinning! 🥸@oliviarodrigo 😉👸👸” Courtney wrote along with the photo of Olivia.

She then took to the comments to further call out Olivia, saying the photo is “rude.”

“I’ve informed her I await her flowers snd [sic] note,” Courtney wrote. “I sure hope it’s long. Does Disney teach kids reading and writing? God knows. Let’s see. Yes this is rude. Rage inducing ? Honey if I had a dollar for everyone this happens? I’d be real rich!”

Olivia reacted to Courtney‘s message on Instagram, writing, “love u and live through this sooooo much.”

Courtney responded to Olivia, doubling down on the fact that she wants flowers and an apology.

“Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! Dm me for deets! I look forward to reading your note!” Courtney wrote.
