Ryan Gosling's Next Movie Announced, to Play Actor Suffering from Memory Loss After Brutal Attack

Ryan Gosling‘s next movie has been revealed!

The Oscar-nominated actor will star in an indie film titled The Actor, which will be directed by Duke Johnson. The film distributor Neon has purchased North American rights in a mid seven-figure range, according to Deadline.

Ryan will play “actor Paul Cole who becomes stranded in 1950s Ohio after a brutal attack. Suffering from severe memory loss, he struggles to find his way back to his life in New York and reclaim what he has lost.”

The movie is based on the best-selling novel “Memory” by Donald E. Westlake. Renowned filmmaker Charlie Kaufman is on board as an executive producer.

Ryan is currently working on the highly anticipated movie The Gray Man, which will make history as Netflix’s biggest budget movie so far. We have some photos from the set that you can see!
