Lucy Liu Joins 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' in Villain Role!

Lucy Liu is joining the all-star cast of Shazam! Fury of the Gods!

The DC Comics movie will see the return of Zachary Levi in the title role with some brand new co-stars.

Variety is reporting that Lucy will be playing the role of villain Kalypso, the sister of Helen Mirren’s villain character Hespera. It’s unclear at this time what roles the two villains will play in the film as Kalypso doesn’t have a direct connection to the DC Universe. Both characters are daughters of the Greek god Atlas, who is one of the sources of Shazam’s superpowers. We’ll have to wait and see!

The film is set to be released on June 2, 2023, so we’ll have to wait a bit for the second installment in the Shazam series.
