Mindy Kaling Wins at PCAs 2020, Makes First Appearance After Giving Birth to Second Child!

Mindy Kaling is making her first public appearance as a mom of two!

The 41-year-old actress and producer took to the stage to accept the award for Best TV Show of 2020 for her show Never Have I Ever at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Joining Mindy on stage was the show’s star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. If you didn’t know, Mindy created the comedy series for Netflix.

“I can’t believe we were nominated in such amazing company,” Mindy said while accepting the award. “It’s great to be with that group. Thanks for that award and huge thank you to Netflix and Universal TV. This means the world to us, coming from you, the fans. We started out to tell a funny story about an Indian-American girl and her family and had no idea we would get this response.”

Tonight’s appearance comes after Mindy gave birth to her son Spencer back in early September. She is also mom to 3-year-old daughter Katherine.
