Samantha Ronson Defends Ellen DeGeneres, Says She's 'Always' Been Kind to Her

Samantha Ronson is speaking out with her thoughts on the allegations being made about Ellen DeGeneres and she has revealed what her own experience has been like.

The 42-year-old British musician acknowledged that she has an “unpopular opinion” on the subject.

“Unpopular opinion: I’ve worked for @TheEllenShow as a dj, for her parties, for years and she has ALWAYS been respectful and kind to me,” Samantha tweeted on Monday afternoon (August 3).

A fan responded and said that most reports claim she is nice to celebrity guests, but that doesn’t mean the stories aren’t true.

Samantha replied, “I knew this was coming, but you’d be surprised by how many people are super rude when you become someone they are writing a cheque to. It’s super disappointing.”

Another fan said, “You’re also a celebrity guest. It’s the people who work for her that she’s reportedly been awful to.”

Samantha responded to that tweet and said, “I wasn’t a celebrity guest. I was an employee. Very different. Trust me.”
