Harry Connick Jr. Performs National Anthem, Narrates Draft-A-Thon
Harry Connick Jr. helped kick off the NFL Draft on Thursday (April 23) with the National Anthem – a virtual rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.
“i LOVE the NFL!” tweeted the 52-year-old singer, who also narrated a clip for the 2020 Draft-A-Thon.
After his performance, Harry took the time to give a few words of encouragement amid the coronavirus pandemic. He said, “Every night in cities across our country and all over the world, thousands gather in the streets, windows and doorways to cheer on the millions of frontline workers fighting this virus and working tirelessly to navigate us through these unprecedented time.”
