John Legend has dropped a brand-new song called “Actions!”

The 41-year-old “Conversations in the Dark” singer released his new track amid the coronavirus pandemic on Friday (March 20).

“Actions speak louder than, speak louder than, speak louder than love songs / The melodies they carry on,” he sings. “Actions speak louder than, speak louder than, speak louder than love songs / I’ve been doing it all wrong.”

During a recent live stream, John Legend said, “Just so you guys know, I am putting out a new album this year. Everybody’s home, you need stuff, you need music, you need TV, you need films. You need stuff to entertain you, so I’m going to put some music out.”

“Actions” samples Dr. Dre’s classic 1999 track “The Next Episode.”
