'Westworld' Debuts on HBO with Strong Ratings!

The new HBO show Westworld kicked off with strong ratings for its series premiere on Sunday night (October 2).

3.3 million viewers watched the first episode of the series across one of its first two airings, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Westworld had the biggest debut for an HBO series since True Detective nearly three years ago in January 2014.

Most successful dramas on HBO tend to grow each week thanks to word of mouth and people catching up on episodes on VOD.
