Tahj Mowry made a cameo on Friends when he was much younger and is opening up about his appearance in a new interview.
If you’re unfamiliar, the now 34-year-old actor’s appearance on the show happened in “The One After the Superbowl: Part 1″ in season two, after he located Phoebe at Central Perk following her playing songs for kids at the public library.
The episode went on to win an Emmy for the show.

The 35-year-old actor spoke with ET about his new movie, Welcome Matt, on Friday (May 28) and gave some exciting new details about reviving the classic sitcom that helped jumpstart his career.

Tahj Mowry is mourning the death of his one true love, Naya Rivera, in two touching posts on Instagram.
The 34-year-old actor shared two never-before-seen black and white images of the two together at a party.
“you will forever be my all time favorite dance partner. I love you,” Tahj wrote with the first image, adding, “♥️ rest in power and peace Naya Marie…” in the next.
Tahj also shared two throwback photos of him and Naya when they were much younger.
If you don’t know, Naya guest starred on a few episodes of his show, Smart Guy, and from there developed a lifelong friendship that turned romantic later on in life.
Over the weekend, Tahj shared a passionate tribute to Naya after she was reported missing, and called her the love of his life.
Naya died during a drowning accident last week after a trip to Lake Piru in California with her son, Josey Dorsey. Her body was found on Monday, July 13.
Many celebrities have been sharing their thoughts and prayers for Naya Rivera‘s safe return since it was reported she had went missing during a boating trip on Lake Piru in California earlier this week.
However, none were as emotional as Tahj Mowry‘s.
Tahj, who you’ll recognize from Baby Daddy, Smart Guy and Sister, Sister, shared a heartbreaking tribute to Naya, and revealed that the two used to date.
“My sweet Naya – to say that I am devastated would be an understatement. This is a nightmare. Everyday gets harder. However, I am holding onto hope that you will be found,” he started on Instagram. “We grew up together. We became adults together. We experienced so many firsts together. You were my first experience with everything; love, intimacy, heartbreak. We broke each others hearts and then mended them back together…more than once. I will never not think of you. No woman has ever measured up what you gave me or how you made me feel.”
He continued, “I’ve never liked to admit it but I have never stopped loving you. A part of me always wished for the day where God would bring us back together to be what we dreamt we could have been.”
“I pray deeply for the Rivera family and that God blankets them with strength, peace, and love right now. Mychal and Nickayla – you will always be like younger siblings to me and I love you dearly. I watched you two grow up into beautiful adults. George and Yolanda – whatever you need I am here for you. We are forever family and I love you.
“I ask everyone reading this to please lift up, along with the entire Rivera family, Ryan and Josey in prayer and to respect what they are going through during this time. I pray that God showers the entire family with strength and peace that only He can give.
Tahj went on, “I still have faith. I still have hope. Let’s please all pray that she is found and brought home safely.”
“Naya, I miss you deeply. I wish I got the chance to tell you that once more but I’m believing I will get that chance,” he added. “I know deep down you’ve always known how I felt. I look forward to the day where I can see your beautiful face once more and tell you everything I’ve wanted to say that I didn’t get the chance to say. I love you forever. I always have and I always will. ”

Sad news for fans of the Freeform series Baby Daddy – the show has been canceled after six seasons on the network.
Sources told THR that the network had unofficially given Baby Daddy a seventh season, but changed decided against it after Yara Shahidi‘s Black-ish spinoff became a possibility for Freeform.
Baby Daddy will end with its 100th episode on May 22. The season six finale will now serve as the series finale.
Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler, Tahj Mowry, Melissa Peterman, and Chelsea Kane fronted the series about a man (Bilodeau) who gets help from his friends and family in raising a baby left at his door after a one-night stand.
