Spencer Grammer Speaks Out After Knife Attack Over The Weekend

Spencer Grammer is opening up following being attacked by a man with a knife in New York City over the weekend.

The 36-year-old actress, and daughter of Kelsey Grammer, was out with a friend and dining outside at The Black Ant when a man walked up and demanded to be served just as the restaurant was about to close. Spencer and her pal tried to calm the man, but they were instead the victims of his rampage.

“My friend and I did what anyone else would do in the same situation. Several others, predominantly women, were also attempting to prevent the altercation from escalating,” Spencer told US Weekly about the attack.

She continued, “I sustained a laceration on my arm, and my friend was stabbed in the back, but thankfully he suffered no serious internal injuries. We expect to recover quickly.”

Spencer added, We want to thank the first responders and the staff at Bellevue Hospital, who provided us with excellent care. They fought an incredible battle this year. It was very moving for us to have the opportunity to thank them in person.”

Kelsey Grammer's Daughter Spencer Injured in Knife Attack at NYC Restaurant

Kelsey Grammer‘s daughter Spencer Grammer is among the victims who were attacked by a man with a knife at a restaurant in New York City.

TMZ reports that Spencer and a friend were dining at the restaurant The Black Ant in the East Village on late Friday night (July 24). Just as the restaurant was about to close at midnight, a man showed up and demanded entry, but he was turned away as closing time was approaching.

The man, who witnesses believe was drunk, reportedly went into a rage and took out a knife. He then started “hacking away in a full-on brawl with guests and employees,” according to the outlet.

Spencer and her friend were both “slashed” by the attacker while trying to get the man off people. She suffered an injury to the arm and the friend was injured on her back. They were treated at the hospital.

'Rick and Morty' Star Spencer Grammer's Husband James Hesketh Files for Divorce

Spencer Grammer and James Hesketh are getting a divorce.

The Rick and Morty star, who is also the daughter of Kelsey Grammer, and her husband were married for six years. James filed for divorce this week in L.A. Superior Court, according to a report.

James cited irreconcilable differences in the filing.

The couple has a six-year-old son, and James is asking for joint physical and legal custody.

According to the obtained court documents, the two are already in mediation and plan to resolve all property and custody issues shortly.

The Cast of 'Greek' is Reuniting For a Movie!

Greek fans – get ready to return to Cypress Rhodes University!

Freeform announced on Thursday (April 7) that there is a reunion in the works for their hit show Greek, which went off the air in 2011.

The reunion would come in the form of a movie, aptly titled Greek: The Reunion, and focus on the cast’s five-year college reunion.

Although no cast members have been officially announced yet,
Spencer Grammer, Scott Michael Foster and Amber Stevens could all be returning! The film is expected to be released around holiday time, according to Deadline.

The series, which aired for four years, followed the lives of college students participating in Greek life at fictional sororities and fraternities at their Ohio university.

Jaimie Alexander is lovely in white as she hits the red carpet at the NBCUniversal 2015 Summer TCA Tour Party held at the Beverly Hilton on Wednesday (August 12) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
