Phoebe Waller-Bridge appears on stage while accepting her award at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (January 19) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actress won for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her work in the show Fleabag.

The cast was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and Andrew Scott was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series. Other cast members in attendance included Sian Clifford, Brett Gelman, and Bill Paterson.

“The Fleabag team go back home tomorrow to the U.K…. I have to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for being so supportive of this show on these shores,” Phoebe said. “This whole thing really has been a dream. If I wake up tomorrow and I discover it was just that, then thank you, it has been the most beautiful dream.”

This is the end of the Fleabag journey as there will be no more seasons and this is the final awards show of the season for television.

Here’s what the 37-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On her relationship with Phoebe Waller-Bridge: “We want to keep on collaborating, because it is so easy and fluid – the dialogue we have…sometimes we don’t need to say anything…it’s done with a look. I don’t know if I will ever have that with someone else, the implicit trust of thoughts and ideas.”

On her wellness journey: “I felt deeply connected to it all immediately. That was the first time I ever meditated and the first time I ever did yoga. I loved it and got lost in that world and went and trained in nutrition, transcendental meditation, Buddhist meditation…I just sort of got buried in this alternative landscape.”

On coping with the success of Fleabag: “My big message about wellness is about consistency. It’s the tiny little 30-second show ups throughout your day that sustain you. You are your greatest brand, supporter, ally, lover, all of those things. If you can do that, you can really survive anything. Last year, if I hadn’t been in that place, it could have been extremely unsettling and overwhelming, because we never could have anticipated what happened to Fleabag last year.”

Phoebe Waller-Bridge hosted a screening and Q&A of her hit Amazon series on Tuesday night (January 7) at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles.

Joining the 34-year-old star and creator at the screening were her co-stars Andrew Scott, Sian Clifford, and Brett Gelman.

At the 2020 Golden Globes a few days before, Phoebe took home the award for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series while Fleabag won Best Comedy Series!

The 34-year-old actress won the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her work on the show Fleabag.

Phoebe was joined at the show by her co-stars Andrew Scott (also a nominee), Sian Clifford, and Brett Gelman. The series is also nominated for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

Jon Hamm pops behind Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Sian Clifford for a photobomb while attending the 2020 AFI Awards on Friday afternoon (January 3) in Los Angeles.

Phoebe and Sian, as well as Andrew Scott, were at the event to support their show Fleabag, which was presented with a Special Award.

Fleabag was not eligible for AFI’s Top 10 TV Programs of the Year list as it is not an American program. The organization decided to give it a Special Award to honor it anyway!

Jon was at the event to support his movie Richard Jewell while Andrew was also represented by his movie 1917.
