Benedict Cumberbatch suits up while walking the red carpet at the 2014 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute held at the American Museum of Natural History on Tuesday (November 18) in New York City.
Also in attendance at the event were Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks and hubby Geoffrey Arend, Orange Is the New Black‘s Uzo Aduba, The Good Wife‘s Taye Diggs and Carrie Preston, pals Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin, The Blacklist‘s Diego Klatenhoff, and singer Sheryl Crow.
Benedict recently chatted with Fast Company about how he relies on his team to manage his busy schedule and worry about where he has to be.
“I have people who are on the verge of a nervous breakdown all the time, managing my day. I started to delegate about a year and a half ago. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. I thought I was capable of running the whole circus, and I’m really not,” Benedict said. “I was about to go on this ridiculous weekend with this guy with a private jet and other friends, kind of a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and then I got a call literally on the tarmac going, ‘Umm, so where are you? We’re about to do the photo shoot.’ I was like, ‘Oh, f–k!’”
