Sarah Drew & Jesse Williams Both Share Their Thoughts On a Jackson & April Spinoff From 'Grey's Anatomy'

Grey’s Anatomy fans were hit with a ton of emotions during this week’s episode that revealed that Jesse Williams would be leaving the show before the end of the season.

In the episode, Jesse‘s character Jackson Avery revealed in tonight’s episode that he will be moving to Boston to take over the Catherine Fox Foundation for his mom, but before he left, he went to see April (Sarah Drew), who is the mother of his child and asked her to move with him so he could still be close to their daughter.

After the episode aired, many fans thought about what a Japril spinoff would be like and now, Jesse and Sarah are both reacting to it.

Sarah Drew & Jesse Williams Reunite on 'Grey's Anatomy' Set!

We heard that Sarah Drew would be returning to Grey’s Anatomy three years after her exit…and now we have a photo of her reuniting with Jesse Williams!

The pair reunited on set and Jesse actually posted a video to announce the exciting news to fans.

At the same time, Sarah posted a photo of them together.

When Sarah was let go from the show back in 2018, she revealed that it was painful. She also revealed if she was still watching the show.

Jesse‘s character. Dr. Jackson Avery, and Sarah‘s character, Dr. April Kepner, used to be in a relationship.

Sarah Drew is returning to Grey’s Anatomy!

The 40-year-old actress will be back on the popular ABC medical drama once again, Deadline is reporting.

Showrunner Krista Vernoff confirmed that Dr. April Kepner will be back in an upcoming episode in seasons 17. It might even be on the beach, where several other fan fave characters have returned.

Sarah left her role as April in 2018, just after the physician recovered from an escape with death. April was seen quitting her job at Grey Sloan Memorial and plans on doing “God’s work.” She also tied the knot with Matthew.

Recently, Sarah opened up about if she still tuned into the series now that she wasn’t on it any longer. Here’s what she said…

The holiday season is about to be rung in over on Lifetime, with the network unveiling its biggest It’s A Wonderful Lifetime lineup yet and earlier than ever before.

This year’s event, which will see the premieres of a new holiday special as well as 28 brand new movies, kicks off on October 25, the earliest date yet, and will see not only the newest films, but also a full slate of programming which will see 24 hours a day, 7 days a week of holiday-related movies and other programming through Christmas Day. New films will premiere every weekend throughout the holiday, and will also see a brand new special as well.

“I’m trying to get someone back,” Krista told TVLine. “There’s someone I’m hoping will make an appearance this year, [but] it’s a real maybe. I’m trying.”

Sarah Drew, Toni Braxton & Bethany Joy Lenz Kick Off 'It's A Wonderful Lifetime!

Sarah Drew Reveals If She's Watching 'Grey's Anatomy' After Being Let Go From the Show

Sarah Drew was let go from Grey’s Anatomy after season fourteen, and now, she’s speaking out about if she has been watching season 15, which is currently airing on Thursday night on ABC.

“I haven’t been watching,” Sarah, 37, told reporters (via People). “You know, it‘s a little painful to kind of go and watch your family move on without you.”

“I wish everybody the best and I know they’re having a wonderful time,” she continued.

Sarah recently spoke out about life after Grey’s Anatomy.
