Lil Nas X Makes a Wardrobe Change on Red Carpet at BET Awards 2021

Lil Nas X is pulling a costume change on the 2021 BET Awards red carpet!

The 22-year-old “Old Town Road” rapper first walked the red carpet in a pink and blue dress, before changing into a floral-print suit for his second trip down the carpet on Sunday (June 27) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

While not nominated at the show tonight, Lil Nas X will be performing his hit song, “Call Me By Your Name (Montero)” during the show.

Other stars in attendance included DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, DaBaby, Migos, and Lil Uzi Vert with girlfriend JT.

The 2021 BET Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, are airing RIGHT NOW on BET.

Roddy Ricch Releases 'Late At Night' Music Video, Inspired by Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' - Watch Now!

Roddy Ricch is paying tribute to one of the most iconic music videos in history!

The 22-year-old rapper released the music video for his new single “Late At Night” – which references the late Michael Jackson‘s video “Thriller.”

In the video, Roddy returns to his home in Compton to start working on new music, but is distracted by the mysterious Ferris wheel that appears in his backyard.

After boarding the ride, Roddy is transported back to a party back in the ’80s, featuring tons of extras playing stars from that era including Madonna, Eddie Murphy, Janet Jackson, Salt N’ Pepa, and many more.

While at the party, Roddy meets Karrueche Tran, and that’s when things start referencing MJ‘s “Thriller” video!

Roddy Ricch Debuts New Song 'Heartless' at Grammys 2021 - Listen Now!

Roddy Ricch is performing a brand new song at the 2021 Grammys!

The 22-year-old rapper took to the stage to debut his new song “Heartless” during the music awards show on Sunday night (March 14) held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Roddy first took to the piano to perform “Heartless” before taking over the stage while performing his hit song “The Box.” He’s wearing Alexander McQueen on stage.

Moments after performing “Heartless,” Roddy released the track, and you can listen to it now!

At this year’s awards ceremony, Roddy was nominated for six awards, but unfortunately didn’t take any home.

The 2021 Grammys will be full of incredible live performers!

The Recording Academy announced a list of performers at the upcoming ceremony on Sunday (March 7).

Taylor Swift, BTS and Harry Styles are among the major entertainers set to hit the stage.

Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone and Roddy Ricch will also be performing.

Several of the performers are making their Grammys stage debut, including Harry, Megan and Bad Bunny.

“Artists will be coming together, while still safely apart, to play music for each other as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all,” the announcement reads, adding that the audience will be limited to performers, nominees and a small number of their guests. J Balvin & Roddy Ricch Drop Out of MTV VMAs 2020 Performer Lineup

J Balvin and Roddy Ricch are no longer performing at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.

Amid reports over the weekend that performers might be dropping out due to COVID-19 safety precautions, both artists are no longer part of the lineup for the event on August 30, via Variety.

“Unfortunately, J Balvin and Roddy Ricch are no longer performing. As with every awards show, there are always last-minute talent changes. That said, this year has more logistical hurdles than most and the health and safety of our employees and partners is of the utmost importance,” a source told the outlet.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be performing at this year’s VMAs as announced. My team and I did everything in our power to make this work, due to COVID compliance issues at the last minute we had to call off the performance. My team and I are safe and everyone’s health is a main priority, as well as giving a quality performance. I appreciate MTV for the opportunity to perform and I hope I can see y’all next year. STAY SAFE,” Roddy wrote on Instagram.

J Balvin has not yet spoke out about the news, but confirmed earlier in the month that he tested positive for coronavirus.

MTV Announces Four New Performers For VMAS 2020

The 2020 MTV VMAs just announced a handful of new performers for the upcoming award show that will be held outdoors in New York City.

The Weeknd, rapper Roddy Ricch, Colombian singer Maluma and boy band CNCO will all join previously announced artists BTS, J Balvin and Doja Cat as performers for the show.

The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards will he held at various outdoor locations around the Big Apple, due to coronavirus safety precautions.

The Weeknd has six nominations at the award show, Roddy earned three of his own nominations, with CNCO at two and Maluma at one.
