Sarah Michelle Gellar is providing an update on her son Rocky‘s eyesight.

Earlier this month, the 43-year-old Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress opened up about noticing that her 8-year-old son was having some issues with his vision as he had more screen time as his school turned virutal amid the pandemic.

Now, Sarah revealed that Rocky‘s eyesight has “absolutely” been improving.

“It’s so interesting that these are the things that you notice about yourself, about your family in general, when you have this kind of together time [amid the pandemic],” Sarah shared with Us Weekly.

During another recent interview, Sarah Michelle Gellar revealed what she and her kids have been doing together while under quarantine.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress spoke to TODAY about how she learned about his vision issue in a new interview.

“I really chalked it up to screen fatigue because my kids didn’t have a lot of access to devices (before the coronavirus quarantine). All of a sudden they’re thrown into this world where they’re on Zoom for school and the only way they can connect with their friends afterwards is to continue on these devices. It was not something my kids were used to,” she said.

She noticed he would blink heavily while trying to focus on the screen in front of him. But, as time progressed, she got more concerned.

“They said not only did he have myopia — the common term is nearsightedness — but it was progressing extremely rapidly.”

She spoke out as part of her work promoting CooperVision, an eyewear company that makes contacts that are safe for kids and have been proven to slow the progression of myopia in kids ages 8-12. She says Rocky is excited to try the contact lenses, as he’s resisted wearing glasses and is worried about how glasses will effect his ability to play sports.

Kids had tons of fun checking out the Micro Kickboard scooters, Diono carseats, Orbit strollers, Ergo baby carriers and Joovy and Munchkin baby products!

Other celebs included Haylie Duff (with husband Matt Rosenberg and daughter Ryan), New Girl‘s Max Greenfield with his family, and a pregnant Edy Ganem.

Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s latest Instagram photo is making us go “aw” thanks to the sweet moment between her kids Rocky and Charlotte.

“#FridayFunDay So this is how I found my kids this morning. Charlotte decided to “help” me by getting Rocky up and apparently taking him on #Safari #WildAnimals #Giraffe,” the 38-year-old actress captioned the pic.

Earlier that same week, Sarah spent the day with her kids and husband Freddie Prinze Jr., for Mother’s Day.

Sarah Michelle Gellar parks her car to meet up with a pal at the Brentwood Country Mart on Wednesday (May 21) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 37-year-old actress met up with a pal to do some shopping that day.

Earlier in the week, Sarah posted a picture of her adorable son Rocky. She captioned the picture on her Twitter account, “My Dude. My most important job. That’s it.” What a cutie – even if it’s only a shot of his back!

Sarah Michelle Gellar turns her camera on the photographers and snaps a few pics with her phone while leaving a coffee shop on Wednesday (January 22) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 36-year-old actress was joined by her adorable 16-month-old son Rocky and a gal pal. The trio sat at an outdoor table before stepping out of the shop together.
