John Legend and Billie Eilish will be hitting the stage.

The Chicks and Common will also be among the performers scheduled to appear next week at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, Deadline reported Friday (August 14).

Leon Bridges, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Porter, Maggie Rogers, Prince Royce and Stephen Stills will also be performing during the convention’s four nights.

“These artists are committed to engaging with, registering and mobilizing voters to get us over the finish line in November,” Stephanie Cutter, program executive for the convention, said in a statement.

They will perform new songs and American classics. Almost all of the convention will take virtually amid the pandemic.

Youth choir members across the country will perform the National Anthem, with Commonwealth Youthchoirs arranging 57 members representing the 50 states and territories.

Prince Royce has revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus.

The 31-year-old singer took to Twitter to share a message with fans and encourage them to focus on their safety during July 4th weekend.

“I never thought I would’ve had to do this video,” Royce said. “I’m in shock, I didn’t think it was gonna happen to me. I thought that taking precautions by washing my hands and wearing a mask was gonna be enough and it was not.”

“I know Fourth of July is coming up, I know we’ve been stuck, we wanna go out, we think that it’s not gonna happen to us, and it’s real,” he continued. “I just want to try to encourage my community, my youth, to take care of yourselves, to be mindful of others.”

Royce said that he’s fortunate because his symptoms weren’t that bad, but not everyone will be that lucky.

“Some of you guys might not be having symptoms, you guys might be spreading this around,” he said in the video. “Not everyone’s gonna take this lightly. I’m fortunate that it didn’t hit me as hard, I’m feeling better now…I’m hoping to come out negative in the next week or so.”

On Instagram he added, “This holiday weekend please maintain social distancing, use masks, if you don’t have to leave home to work or get together with others, don’t do it. For younger people, this is more than just about taking care of ourselves, it is about taking care of others, older people and those with compromised immune systems. Please let’s take this seriously and act responsibly and with compassion. Let’s all take care of each other.”

The 48-year-old singer served as a performer at the 32nd annual Premio Lo Nuestro, the longest-running awards show on Spanish-language television, and hit the stage to deliver a stunning live rendition of his new single “Tiburones.”

Also in attendance at the event was J Balvin, Becky G, Natti Natasha, Luis Fonsi, Thalia, Prince Royce, Jaime Camil, El Gordo y la Flaca host Lili Estefan and TV presenter Alejandra Espinoza.

J Balvin was named this year’s Icono Mundial, or Global Icon: “Receiving this award reinforces that with belief in your vision, and hard work, we can transcend any barriers. My sincere thanks to Univision and Premio Lo Nuestro for the long support to make Reggaeton global,” Balvin said in a press release. “I proudly accept this for Colombia and all the New Latino Gang… and pledge to keep working even harder.”

The 41-year-old “Despacito” singer hit the red carpet for the 2019 Latin Grammys on Thursday (November 14) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Congrats are in order for singer Prince Royce and Emeraude Toubia.

The longtime couple revealed they tied the knot in a secret wedding, and shared the news with fans on social media today.

The new cover of People en Espanol introduced the couple as Mr. and Mrs. Royce.

According to the magazine, Shadowhunters star Emeraude and Prince tied the knot “in an intimate and ultra-private ceremony in the heart of Mexico.”

The two became engaged in 2017 and just recently said “I do” after eight years of dating.

Becky G strikes a pose in a fierce sheer ensemble while hitting the red carpet at the 2018 Latin American Music Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Thursday evening (October 25) in Hollywood, Calif.
