Peter Dinklage made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (October 17) and he spoke about his My Dinner With Hervé co-star Jamie Dornan.

In the interview, Peter expressed that he helped Jamie learn some lines for the reshoots of Fifty Shades Freed.

“I read some of the screenplay, though, in our dressing room. I went in, he had to do some reshoots for Fifty Shades and I would help him out learning lines,” Peter recalled. “I would read the Dakota Johnson parts. I was just helping a friend learn lines. I nailed it. I really did.”

Peter also weighed in on his beliefs about Game of Thrones fans vs Fifty Shades fans. He said, “I think Game of Thrones fans would take issue with comparing the two because Game of Thrones fans are very specific and lovely. Fifty Shades fans have issues. It’s all suppressed issues, I think.”

Jamie Dornan walks the red carpet with co-star Peter Dinklage at the premiere of their movie My Dinner with Herve on Thursday night (October 4) at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

The guys were joined at the event by co-stars Mireille Enos, Andy Garcia, and Helena Mattsson, as well as writer and director Sacha Gervasi.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: An unlikely friendship evolves over one wild night in LA between a struggling journalist (Dornan) and actor Hervé Villechaize (Dinklage), resulting in life-changing consequences for both.

The movie premieres on HBO on October 20 at 8pm!

Peter Dinklage holds his trophy while appearing on stage at the 2018 Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Monday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The 49-year-old actor won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the third time from seven nominations for his role as Tyrion Lannister.

Peter was nominated against his co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, The Handmaid’s Tale‘s Joseph Fiennes, Stranger Things‘ David Harbour, Homeland‘s Mandy Patinkin, and The Crown‘s Matt Smith.

During his speech, Peter called Nikolaj his “brother from another mother,” leading some fans to think he’s hinting at a Game of Thrones spoiler.

Peter Dinklage has a new project!

The 49-year-old Game of Thrones actor is developing Rumpelstiltskin with Sony, Variety reported on Friday (July 27).

Peter is reportedly producing and starring in the film, which is based on the classic fairy tale story.

It’s also not Peter‘s immediate next project after Game of Thrones wraps, according to the report. However, it’s still a priority.

Plot details are being kept under wraps for the production, aside from Peter playing the character.

In the classic Brothers Grimm tale, a miller lies to the king, telling him that his daughter can spin straw into gold. The king calls for the girl, shuts her in a tower room filled with straw and a spinning wheel, and demands she spin the straw into gold by morning or he will cut off her head. When she has given up all hope, an imp-like creature, a.k.a. Rumpelstiltskin, appears in the room and spins the straw into gold in return for her necklace. Though the return is good in the short term, Rumpelstiltskin’s motives lie in the long term and end up costing the girl more than she could have bargained for.

It is not yet known if it will be a classic retelling or a modern version of the tale.

Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie got married in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday (June 23) and there were many actors from the HBO series at the wedding!

Other than the newlyweds, we counted at least 10 stars from the show who showed up to support Kit and Rose, including Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams.
