'Real Housewives of Miami' Reboot Is Coming to Peacock!

There are new details about the Real Housewives of Miami reboot!

The beloved Miami offshoot of the Real Housewives franchise was greenlit, and currently in development for Peacock, the NBCUniversal streamer announced Wednesday (February 17) during the Television Critics Association Press Tour.

Andy Cohen is set to executive produce alongside Matt Anderson, Nate Green and Cooper Green at Purveyors of Pop.

The series originally ran from 2011 to 2013 across three seasons, and is only one of two spinoffs to ever be canceled, following Real Housewives of D.C.

Cast members have not yet been announced. The original RHOM cast followed Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Larsa Pippen and Cristy Rice, with later additions of Lisa Hochstein, Joanna Krupa, Ana Quincoces and Karent Sierra.

Andy Cohen first teased the idea last year on Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino.

“I have really been trying to get Peacock to pick up Miami. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this. I don’t know where we are with that,” he said at the time.

Andy Cohen recently opened up about searching for a life partner.

'The Office' Is Being Watched More on Peacock Than It Was on Netflix!

The Office is now streaming at a new home – and it’s doing big numbers!

The show is being streamed more on Peacock than it was on Netflix, according to NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell, via Deadline.

On Comcast’s fourth-quarter earnings call, he mentioned that the beloved sitcom, which NBCU brought back from Netflix in a $500 million licensing deal, is proof that the company’s commitment to streaming will be successful for the network.

“We’re seeing people who are watching The Office on Peacock are watching lots of our other comedies. It’s really driving Parks & Recreation and really driving Brooklyn Nine-Nine, amongst others. So, it’s kind of an ecosystem,” he said adding that it’s “like broadcast, where we can cross-promote people into different things. That certainly seems to be working.”

Shell did not elaborate on his assessment with any specific data,” Deadline noted.

Comcast also said Peacock had 33 million sign-ups as of this week and brought in $100 million in revenue during the fourth quarter, which ended on December 31.

“Losses on Peacock are estimated to be $2 billion for the 2020 and 2021, CFO Mike Cavanagh said, matching projections before launch,” the outlet added.

The announcement comes less than two months after its season one premiere on Peacock.

The series is a sequel to the 1990s teen comedy featuring several original cast members.

“I’m thrilled that Saved by the Bell has been renewed. I’ve been blown away by all the love for the show and can’t wait to go back and make more episodes. Hopefully we stay on Peacock for many more seasons, and then in 30 years, somebody does a reboot of our reboot and invents the threeboot,” says showrunner and executive producer Tracey Wigfield.

Here’s show summary: “In the new Saved by the Bell, Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), now governor of California, gets into political trouble for closing too many underfunded high schools and proposes sending affected students to some of the more affluent schools — including his alma mater, Bayside. An influx of new students gives the privileged kids of Bayside a needed dose of reality.”

The cast includes Haskiri Velazquez, Josie Totah, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Mitchell Hoog, Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden and John Michael Higgins. Original cast members Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Mario Lopez are also regulars, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar recurs.

Tiffani Thiessen, who plays Kelly Kapowski Morris on the reboot, can confirm just who Mac’s real dad is.

'A.P. Bio' Renewed for Season 4 By Peacock!

A.P. Bio had been officially renewed for a fourth season by Peacock!

The show was actually cancelled by NBC originally, but picked up by their streaming service for the third season. Now, the show will get another season on the streamer, Variety reports.

Here’s a synopsis: When disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) loses out on his dream job, he is forced to return to Toledo, Ohio, and work as a high school advanced placement biology teacher. As he comes crashing into Whitlock High School, Jack makes it absolutely clear that he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a roomful of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack decides instead to use the kids’ brainpower for his own benefit. Over time, his students help him realize his dream job might actually be the one he has right now. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.

Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Jean Villepique and Paula Pell also star. Find out what else has been renewed (and cancelled) by NBC in 2020!

The hit NBC show, which ran on the network from 2005-2013, quickly became one of Netflix’s most-streamed shows on the streaming service once it arrived years ago.

'Saved by The Bell' Removes Selena Gomez Kidney Graffiti & Scenes

Peacock is owning up to its mistake in their new series, Saved By The Bell.

Over the weekend, the streaming network and the show came under fire after featuring a few scenes, as well as some graffiti on the wall of the school that mocked Selena Gomez‘s kidney transplant.

In one scene from the show, two students (not of the main cast) are overheard arguing about just who was Selena‘s transplant donor – ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber‘s mom or singer Demi Lovato.

“Does Selena Gomez even have a kidney?” is also seen written on the walls in the school’s hallway.

Now, the show has erased the scene and graffiti entirely, according to People.

While Selena has yet to address the scenes, her fans and actual donor, Francia Raisa, spoke out about the unnecessary joke.

“We apologize. It was never our intention to make light of Selena’s health. We have been in touch with her team and will be making a donation to her charity, The Selena Gomez Fund for Lupus Research at USC,” Peacock shared in a statement, following the backlash.

Find out how Francia reacted when she saw the “joke” here…

Saved By the Bell is streaming now on Peacock.
