Meghan Markle‘s father Thomas Markle reportedly took a trip up to Montecito, California this week to attempt to communicate with Oprah Winfrey.

The retired Hollywood lighting director traveled to Oprah‘s home to personally deliver a letter to the talk show host, asking her to interview him.

Oprah recently interviewed Meghan and her husband Prince Harry and we learned so many bombshells about the royal couple during the two-hour CBS special.

The Sun obtained photos of Thomas delivering the letter to a member of Oprah‘s security team. A source said, “Thomas delivered a letter to Oprah asking her to contact him so he could tell his side of the story. This was not a note to Meghan and Harry, it was meant for Oprah. Thomas watched the interview she did with them and feels he deserves a chance to have his say.”

Thomas has previously stated that he wants to talk to Oprah about his relationship with Meghan. He told The Sun in January 2020, “I was going to write Oprah a letter asking her to let me have an opportunity to speak.”

In a recent interview, Thomas discussed the last time he spoke to Meghan and Harry.

Variety reports that Amanda will discuss her experience at the inauguration, the process of creating a poem, her childhood and more.

“The Oprah Conversation” on Apple TV Plus with Amanda Gorman will air on Friday.

This is Oprah‘s second big interview this month after she sat down with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, where they revealed some bombshells.

Oprah asked Prince Harry, “Did you leave the country because of racism?”

Harry responded, “It was a large part of it.”

“I remember the Sentebale fundraiser,” Harry continued. “One of the people at that dinner said to me, ‘Please, please don’t do this with the media. They will destroy your life.’ This person is friends with a lot of the editors and I said, ‘What do you mean by that?’ Obviously I knew. They said, ‘You don’t understand, the U.K. is very bigoted.’ And I stopped, and I said the U.K.’s not bigoted, the U.K. press is bigoted, specifically the tabloids. Is that what you mean?’ He goes, “No, the U.K. is bigoted.’ And I said I completely disagree.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently being interviewed on Oprah with Meghan and Harry and they just revealed some major news…the sex of their second child: a baby girl!

“It’s a girl!,” Harry beamed. “To have any child…would have been amazing. But to have a boy and then a girl. What more can you ask for?”
