'Stranger Things' Goes Back to School with Set Photos from Hawkins High School!

The cast of Stranger Things is back at work on season four and we have some new photos from set!

Natalia Dyer was spotted in costume as Nancy Wheeler while filming a scene outside of the makeshift Hawkins High School on Thursday (October 1) in Atlanta, Ga.

Also spotted on set that day were Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, and Sadie Sink, who plays Max.

The official Stranger Things account on Twitter teased the return to set that same day with a new photo. They posted a photo of the clap board with the caption, “meanwhile in the upside down…”

Production on season four initially began earlier this year, but it was paused after just a few weeks due to the pandemic. The new episodes are expected to premiere in 2021.

Natalia Dyer Calls Out The Media For Oversexualizing The Young Stars of 'Stranger Things'

Natalia Dyer is not holding back about how she feels about the media oversexualizing her younger co-stars on Stranger Things.

In a new interview with The Independent, the 25-year-old actress, who plays Nancy Wheeler in the series, shared that she feels overprotective of them all.

“There are so many layers going on here. I generally feel like, to me, it’s oversexualizing them. I feel protective over the younger kids even though they’re not kids anymore, they’re teens,” Natalia shared.

She adds, “They’re all great people and all having to grow up in very crazy circumstances. As a private person, I just feel like, leave people alone – unless you’re talking about their work or what they want to talk about.”

“It’s a very tricky and complex issue,” Natalia says. “[It's a] cultural issue, there must be a bigger concept behind it as to why. Just let people be the people that they are, without any judgement.”

Millie Bobby Brown, who stars as Eleven, has been open in the past about the discussion of inappropriate sexualization of the show’s young cast.

“There are moments I get frustrated from the inaccuracy, inappropriate comments, sexualization, and unnecessary insults that ultimately have resulted in pain and insecurity for me,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post.

Just recently, Natalia opened up about the delay in season four of the show. See what she said here…

Natalia Dyer Says The Delay in Season Four of 'Stranger Things' Is A Blessing in Disguise

Natalia Dyer is opening up about the delay in Stranger Things that was caused by the coronavirus pandemic and says that it’s actually a blessing.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about the hit Netflix series, the 25-year-old actress explained that the delay in getting back to set is most likely a “blessing for the writers.”

Natalia shared that they have had more time to “just sit down, think, and create.”

“Normally, we get the first few scripts, and then they have to keep writing due to the schedule of it,” she added. “It takes a while to craft a script. So, normally, there’s a kind of ‘writing as we’re going’, but it seems they’ve had enough time.”

Natalia, who plays Nancy Wheeler on the show, did hint that season four is now completely written and polished and she’s excited to get back on set.

“I’m excited by the scripts. I’m excited for everything that this season is going to be,” she says.

David Harbour was the last star to speak about the delay of Stranger Things. See what he said here about the show…
