Moonlight's Ashton Sanders & Jharrel Jermone Win Best Kiss at MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017!

Ashton Sanders and Jharrel Jerome accept the award for Best Kiss on stage at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (May 7) in Los Angeles.

The stars of the movie Moonlight beat out Mike and Dave Need Wedding DatesZac Efron and Anna Kendrick, Empire‘s Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, La La Land‘s Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and Beauty and the Beast‘s Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.

FYI: Ashton is wearing a Calvin Klein 205W39NYC turtleneck, pants, and boots.

The three actors who play Chiron in the film MoonlightTrevante, Ashton Sanders, and Alex R. Hibbert – along with Oscar winner Mahershala Ali are featured in the new campaign.

“It’s just like the attitude. The personality. Like, it can be like me�”dark inside and bright outside,” Alex said about his love of clothes.

Moonlight just won the Oscar for Best Picture and Mahershala won for Best Supporting Actor!

The campaign was shot by Willy Vanderperre in Los Angeles back in January.

If you take a close look at what was happening in the background as La La Land producer Marc Platt was accepting the award for Best Picture at the 2017 Oscars, you’ll notice the show’s producers scrambling to make sure the real winner was announced.

Jordan Horowitz, one of the musical’s producers, ended up going to the microphone to announce that Moonlight was the rightful winner after the big mix-up.

Miss Universe Reacts to Shocking Oscars Mix-Up, Reminiscent of Steve Harvey’s Flub!

The Miss Universe competition tweeted about the Oscars big Moonlight/La La Land mix-up - and if you didn’t know, the Miss Universe competition went through something very similar!

In 2015, Steve Harvey accidentally announced the wrong name of the winner at the Miss Universe competition, and the snafu went viral immediately. Steve corrected the mistake soon after, in a similar fashion to the Oscars correction that happened today.

'Moonlight' Team Accepts Best Picture After Wrong Winner Announced in Huge Oscars Mistake (Video)

Barry Jenkins and Moonlight producer Adele Romanski accept their awards for Best Picture at the 2017 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood.

The Moonlight team accepted the award after the wrong winner was announced in a huge mistake. The wrong envelope was given to presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway and they instead re-announced the winner for Best Actress, which went to La La Land‘s Emma Stone.

“Even in my dreams this could not be true. But to hell with dreams, I’m done with it, because this is true. Oh my goodness,” Barry, the film’s director and screenwriter, said. “And I have to say, it is true, it’s not fake. We’ve been on the road with these guys for so long and that was so gracious, so generous of them. My love to La La Land.”

Best Picture 'Moonlight' Wins After Oscars Mess-Up, Wrong Winner Announced (Video)

One of the craziest moments in the history of the Oscars happened at the 2017 Academy Awards when La La Land was incorrectly announced as the winner of Best Picture.

Moonlight was the real winner and after the producers of La La Land accepted the award, a man rushed on stage to announce that the other film had actually won.

“There’s a mistake. Moonlight, you guys won Best Picture. This is not a joke,” the man said while holding out the statue to the filmmakers sitting in the audience. “This is not a joke. Moonlight has won Best Picture.”

Warren Beatty, who presented the award, stood by the man’s side to explain what had happened. He says he was given the wrong envelope and he was reading the Best Actress winner announcement, for which La La Land‘s Emma Stone was the winner.
