Mike Judge Draws the 'King of the Hill' Characters Living in the Social Distancing Era

Mike Judge, the creator of the beloved animated series King of the Hill, is imagining what the characters would look like in the social distancing era.

The writer, producer, and actor took to social media to share a photo of the characters Hank Hill, Boomhauer, Dale Gribble, and Bill Dauterive standing six feet away from each other in the yard.

After just a few hours, the tweet had over 25,000 retweets and nearly 80,000 likes!

King of the Hill launched in January 1997 and the final episode aired in May 2010. In all, there were 259 episodes of the series across 13 seasons.

Silicon Valley is coming to an end.

The HBO comedy series will wrap up following its sixth season, Variety reports.

The final season will feature an abbreviated seven-episode run – the shortest season yet.

Silcon Valley is currently in pre-production and is will premiere later this year.

Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us,” co-showrunners and executive producers Alec Berg and Mike Judge said. “We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion. We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew, and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.”

The series follows the struggle of Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), a Silicon Valley engineer trying to build his own company called Pied Piper. It also stars Josh Brener, T.J. Miller, Martin Starr, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Amanda Crew, Jimmy O. Yang, Suzanne Cryer, and Matt Ross.

Ron Livingston, Gary Cole & 'Office Space' Cast Reunite for 20th Anniversary Screening!

Ron Livingston, Gary Cole and Mike Judge have strike a pose together while attending the special 20th anniversary screening of their film Office Space held at the Paramount Theatre on Wednesday (March 6) in Austin, Texas.

The three actors were joined at the event by their cast mates David Herman and Ajay Naidu as they presented the screening, which was followed by a Q&A moderated by Austin Film Society’s Richard Linklater.

Office Space, which was released in 1999 and also starred Jennifer Aniston, will be inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame on Thursday (March 7) at the Texas Film Awards, the unofficial opening salvo for South by Southwest.

'Silicon Valley' Previews Upcoming Fifth Season at PaleyFest

Kumail Nanjiani, Amanda Crew, Martin Starr, Thomas Middleditch, and Zach Woods hit the carpet at the PaleyFest panel for Silicon Valley on Sunday (March 18) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The stars of the HBO comedy series were joined by executive producers Mike Judge and Alec Berg.

Silicon Valley‘s upcoming fifth season will be premiering this Sunday, March 25. Series regular T.J. Miller will not be returning for the upcoming season and the cast recently opened up about his exit from the series.

Judd Apatow Gets Support from Kathy Griffin & Bob Saget at 'Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling' Documentary Premiere!

Judd Apatow is dapper as he poses alongside his pal Bob Saget at the premiere screening for HBO’s The Zen Diaries Of Garry Shandling held at Avalon on Wednesday (March 14) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 50-year-old writer-director-producer was also joined at the event by Kathy Griffin, Jon Lovitz, Vanessa Bayer, Wallace Langham, Mike Judge and Martin Starr.

“I didn’t realize that he had chosen really consciously to be a mentor,” Judd told Variety. “I knew he was available to people and he was really kind and if you said, ‘Will you read my script?’ he would give you notes. But he wrote in his journals that he wanted to help people and he thought that was the win in life, to help people. I was able to get an enormous amount of footage from different people and then I realized ‘Oh, this would make a great Bob Dylan-type two-part documentary’ so we spent about a year searching for footage and just watching footage and then a year editing it.”

Jennifer Lawrence & Michael Fassbender Trade In 'X-Men' for 'Big Lebowski'

The two actors, along with Olivia Munn, took a break from filming X-Men: Apocalypse to participate in the event, directed by Jason Reitman.

Michael took on the role of Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski while Jennifer played Maude Lebowski.

Also starring in the live read were Olivia as Bunny Lebowski, Patton Oswalt as Walter Sobchak, T.J. Miller as Brandt, Martin Starr as Jesus, Mike Judge as The Stranger, Mae Whitman as Theodore Donald “Donny” Kerabatsos, and Dennis Quaid as The Big Lebowski.
